Originally from NY, I've been in SD for almost 6 years now and it was the best move I ever made! I'm looking for a relationship for the long haul but I'm really big on taking things slow. I want someone that is intelligent, someone that can hold a conversation, someone funny (That's super important to me), someone that is non judgmental and not superficial; Honest and caring, trustworthy and I'm sure I can list more. But the thing is, if there is no connection, then those are just things in a list - so the biggest thing for me is a connection. I'm not a CO native, but I love calling CO home. So far, it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I feel like I've been here long enough to know that I love everything about it, but I still feel new enough to appreciate, and want to take advantage of, everything CO has to offer. I'm finding that the longer I'm here, the more new things I get into-- I love that about living here. I'm an elementary school teacher, runner, and lover of all things summer. I live for anything outdoors, active, fun, or with good company. I'm really down to earth, light hearted, and pretty laid back for the most part. I definitely consider myself an optimist and an idealist...in relationships and in life. I want to be able to look back someday and know for sure that I never settled for anything less than happiness. I'd also like to have a great guy in my life to look back with. I'm realizing more and more that everything happens for a reason--even if it doesn't seem that way at first, and that you get what you put in--even if you don't see it right away. I love my job (most of the time!), I work hard when I need to, and I like to take on challenges, but I also love to have fun and be a goof.), and summertime. I'd love to meet a guy who can be my best friend and partner in crime, who is adventurous and loves the outdoors, has a good sense of humor, a good heart, and a good head on his shoulders, but who also doesn't take life too seriously and can laugh at the little things. Hi,I am originally from NY, but have lived in SD for almost 5 years. The only thing that would make this place better is if my family and friends moved here as well. Fortunately, I have amazing friends and social support here to make this place feel like home.Since moving here I've tried things I've never done before including running a few half marathons, surfing, sky-diving, hiking and training for a triathlon. All of which have been incredible experiences. In general I love doing all fun things including traveling, exercising, dancing, spending time with friends, going out to eat, cooking, watching movies, going to sporting events, and that's just naming a few. I'm pretty easy to please in that sense. I'm looking for a funny honest, genuine, smart, decisive, kind person who is adventurous and fun, knows what they want in life, and enjoys themselves no matter what they do. Playing the guitar is a sweet added bonus.
