(I dislike NASCAR but love Formula One); and I'm a bit of a rebel, by nature, which explains why I've probably gone totally off-topic....What I'm looking for: A man who is strong enough to stand up to me when I'm being fiesty, confident enough to openly disagree with me, caring enough to tell me the truth *** what you think I want hear, secure enough to be happy on your own (not codependent/needy) & capable of holding my interest--intimately AND intellectually. I'm spontaneous and love having fun & trying new things! I'm not a hard-core feminist but I do have self-respect, so I will tell you right now, I'm not a "DTF chick"....if ya don't know what that is, google it :)

I am a small town country girl from upstate NY. My family is still in NY, so I try to visit as often as I can. They are a very big part of my life. I enjoy just about anything. I feel it is the company you are with that makes the difference. I especially like things related to the water and animals (zoo, Busch Gardens, Sea World, the beach, fishing, and kayaking). I am very fortunate to have a job that I love. Teaching Kindergarteners is so rewarding. I am just missing a person I can share my life with. Let me start out by saying I learned some very hard life lessons in my twenties. I have gone more than most people have in a life time. I have this amazing beautiful daughter who is seven and is special needs. she was born 16 weeks early. She writes only a pound . She is deaf and visually impaired. she was never to walk or talk and I have pushed her to do both. I don't allow her disabilities define her. She has had close to 20 surgeries to date. She is my world. I have ***custody.I have been married before. I lost my husband march of this year to cystic fibrosis.It's a disease that attacks the immune system and digestive system and lungs. I was only married a year and a half and 90% of the time was spent in the hospital. he went through a lung transplant and got 9 good months before he passed. I held him in the hospital bed as he passed. I am at peace with his passing. he is in a better place. I got one miracle in this.life my daughter it would be selfish of me to get two miracles in this life. He is our angel now. He taught me to love full force or not at all. I love the outdoors ! Hiking, biking, running, fishing, want to learn to hunt, swimming. I love old cars . love everything about the rain. I am easy going, patient, and strong. I don't need a man to depend on but life lonely without a companion. I am ***girls in my entire family so I think like a guy. I can't do needy if your needy and need me around ***it's not going to work. IM bluntly honest don't ask if.the truth is.going to hurt you. I don't chest or lie. my biggest flaw is if I let you in my world I will care about you to much.
