I'm a very laid back and down to earth girl. I love to laugh and tend to catch myself doing or saying stupid things that crack myself up more often than not. My friends and family are everything to me, and they have told me many times that they love the fact that I can have fun and "melt" into any situation. I loved CA for all of it's eccentric qualities, but I find myself stuck between two different worlds. I've been backpacking in the rockies for a week living off of the food on my back, and then turned around to be back in the city for a night of drinks with the girls. (it's usually not too difficult to twist my arm to go out!!) I love the outdoors and doing anything in the sun, I grew up camping every weekend and living on my families boat. I consider myself a simple girl and am looking for the same in a partner in crime! I ask that you don't judge the book by it's cover, I can pull of the "girlie girl" when needed, but on a day to day basis I consider myself to be pretty simple! It's the little things in life that make me the happiest. My potential partner in crime will hopefully enjoy those little things too. Sometimes it's the small gestures that really matter, not how much you can spend to impress me! =)...I admire confidence, but not arrogance, a stupid sense of humor, the ability to have a deep intellectual conversation, and someone who is true to themselves. If you're the kind of guy that enjoys spending all of your time glued to the tv watching sports all day, we probably will not get along. I can humor this hobby but would much rather be outdoors doing something in the sun together!I think I've found a pretty great happy medium in CO and I hope to find that great guy that can appreciate both spectrums of life as much as I do! I'm a designer and absolutely love my job. I get to work with my hands and get dirty everyday. I miss the So Cal beaches like crazy, but find myself constantly inspired by the various cultures in the city, and the serenity of the mountains. I'm totally looking for that partner in crime to enjoy all of those great little life moments together....maybe a good camping trip, bonfire, BBQ with friends, day at the beach, (where are the beaches in CO by the way????) or just an afternoon laying around being stupid together and laughing at each other....A good sense of humor is a must!! I'm a very independent girl but after spending the last several years focusing on myself and career I'm finally at that point where I can't wait to share life with someone else. Dating can be so awkward sometimes! I am not the least bit shy or quiet when you get to know me, but can be on the shy side the first time meeting. Grabbing a beer or coffee, something easy and "light" is a good first date to me. Especially since we're all putting ourselves out there on the inter web, you don't exactly always know what your going to get in real life, light and casual is best and lets go from there!
