About Me

After lots of pressure from my grown children and friends and time alone I am giving this a try.About me....I will give the "cliff notes" and if that gets your curiosity then contact me and I will share more.I am very open-minded and prefer relaxation over craziness. Looking for someone who can chill out a bit. Don't feel at this point in my life that I need lots of shallow social activities. Close, personal relationships with substance are more important.Looking for someone real and can chillax. Not interested in someone who pretends to be one thing and after the" honeymoon phase" becomes someone different. I am kind,generous and faithful in a relationship and expecting the same.I am a middle age woman which comes with rich history and a back story. I have 4 wonderful sons who are a part of my life, totally on their own and very independent of me. I definitely think outside the box but can reel it in when necessary. If you are a very Type A person I am probably not the one for you.Am open to some new adventures and experiences. I have always lived in small towns but have traveled the world vicariously through books and others stories and adventures. Just to clarify what I probably should have made clearer in my original profile:I spent 30 years raising and teaching children so if you have minor children I am not the one for you.I am not on here to run numbers or hook up.I won't be rocking stilettos,false eyelashes or gobs of makeup for you...I am a cowboy boot, clog, cute dress or feminine jeans kind of woman. Hey a girl must be prepared for adventure. I am a middle aged woman. If you want perfect you should probably look in a younger age category or seek superficial females. I don't do spray tans,botox,waxing,surgery etc. I am a real woman and age does come with a little road rash.If you are a big breast man you should probably bypass me :)I also feel that there is no expiration date on fabulous:)I do not do organized religion. I am quietly spiritual and continue to work towards my own center. I possess a rich inner life.If you don't have children or are uncomfortable around them then you probably won't enjoy spending Thanksgiving with me.I have a strong moral compass and am looking for the same.If you are or have been a cheater please bypass me.I am keeping this real and honest.     Oh hi there! Thanks for taking the time to scroll farther than my photos... I'll reward ya with a little bit of info about myself and if you like what you see, you should send me a message :) I describe myself as someone who is fun, confident, sarcastic, patient, caring, generous and creative... I am always interested to meet new people and really enjoy hearing about people's careers, families, vacation plans, and day to day life so expect lots of questions! I received my diploma in Child and Youth Care in April and have recently joined the working world as a Youth Care Worker at a group home for at-risk youth. I love it and it is something that I probably talk about too much! I am also a substitute Educational Assistant during the school year. One of my goals is to eventually go back to school to get a university degree and possibly a masters, but that will all come later! In my down time I can be kind of a homebody. I love to read and will lose track of time and spend hours with my nose in a good book. I do play a little bit of slo-pitch with friends during the summer. enjoy staying in and watching the Leafs, Riders or Jays play... And going for a patio drink or two is also a favorite summer past time. The bar scene has never really been my thing (I am a horrible dancer and have a personal space issue) but a lounge or pub with some friends is delightful. I am very close with my parents and extended family! I listen to almost anything when it comes to music but probably mostly country! Lots of random tidbits...
