When I'm uncomfortable, I revert -- without conscious thought -- to formal language and posture. My bestie-in-the-westie calls this Duchess Mode and thinks it's hilarious.4. I will always have a plan; it's not a hard-and-fast, set-in-stone thing, just a general outline of the next few steps and I can totally adjust it on the fly. It's not that I don't like spontaneity, just that I prefer my spontaneity planned. In advance. With pie-charts or Venn diagrams, if possible, but only because they're awesome.5. If you're a Myers- I'm practical, protective, and loyal. The "I" in ISTJ just means on occasion, if my personal or professional life gets stressful, I may not be as inclined to be social. Give me some downtime to recharge and I’ll be good to go. I'm looking for a partner. Someone who, regardless of what he's been through, has (or is getting) it together. Someone who has a career or knows how he wants to get one. Some who can rub brain cells together, provide witty repartee, teach me something, learn something from me. Someone who really enjoys an in-depth conversation about nothing important. First dates should be tailored to interests. As a for-instance, I wouldn't take me camping or hiking on a first date, because I'm not into those things. I might take me to a concert (a little too loud) or a movie (a little too quiet), but more than likely, I'd try to arrange something indoors with plenty of opportunity for showing me how clever and charming I am.Where would you take you?

Hey! Thanks for stopping by!Well, I am on this site to try something new and stem out from my normal social scene. (not that it's bad by any means...I just want to meet some people with different interests). I would consider myself a constantly evolving and optimistic person. By day, I'm a nerdy scientist. I wear a lab coat and safety glasses, and spend my days mixing solutions and prepping samples. I work as an Analyst in a toxicology laboratory, and I absolutely love it. I guess I'm a bit of a science geek, and I love being surrounded by my ridiculous coworkers. (I swear they could base a show around the things that are said behind closed doors) I also love the fact that I learn something new every day, and that I have access to some incredibly brilliant people in my field. That being said, I would actually prefer a partner who works in a completely different field. You can only talk about beakers and pipets for so long....By night, I'm a laid back type of girl. I love to laugh and get to know people. I love cooking, going to movies and having coffee with friends. I'm more comfortable talking one on one, and I prefer an intimate atmosphere rather than a nightclub. I'm an art lover, and I support the art community any way I can. I'm also really into running and cycling, and I do a lot of races throughout the year. I'm constantly working on myself physically, and I take my health very seriously. I'll never be a tiny stick of a woman....so if that's what you want....don't waste your time--or mine for that matter. I'm a healthy "curvy" body type, and I like how I look. I don't really have a body type that I look for in a man, but I do have a thing for dark hair and blue eyes.So, what am I looking for? Well, I have had a lot of good and bad experiences dating over the years. Luckily, the good has outweighed the bad, and I'm open to a new relationship.
