Lol I’ve been on this site off and on for about a year and a half now, and I’ve had some great experiences and some not-so-great experiences (read: horror stories!). Obviously, I’m still looking for Mr. Right, since here I am creating yet another profile, lol. I decided to join meetville in hopes of eventually finding the man of my dreams, but until that happens, I’m enjoying dating, meeting new people, and trying new things.So, a little about me…I’m a full-time student pursuing my doctorate degree in pharmacy, and I’m the mother to 3 fantastic kids, ages 12, 10, and 6. I also work part-time. Clearly, I am a busy woman, lol, but I make sure to carve out time for fun and relaxation. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cooking, baking, reading, and traveling (there are SO many places on my “to go to” list!). Of course, I have many other interests, too, but I’ve got to leave something for you to ask me about during our first few conversations, lol. :-) I love listening to music, and I like just about everything from classic country to hip hop. My favorite band of all time would have to be Aerosmith. They rock!! I’ve also come to love Jason Mraz’s music, too. His music is somewhat unique in this day and age, and a lot of his songs really speak to my soul. After I graduate, I’’ I would describe myself as someone who has a great sense of humor, is intelligent, thoughtful, compassionate, honest, loyal, giving (almost to a fault), optimistic, and romantic. The list of adjectives doesn’t end there, but I already feel like I’m writing an infomercial on myself…Now, a little bit about you…The guy I’m looking to spend time with reflects all the awesome qualities I just listed about myself ;-) and he must love kids. I would also love to find someone who shares some of my interests, so we could experience those things together. I think it’s important, too, though, that we have some varied interests to help keep things spicy and to give us plenty to talk about at the end of the day. Speaking of talking, I really enjoy being able to converse with someone special, whether it’s just joking around and shooting the breeze or having a deeper, more meaningful conversation. Also, it’s very important to me that we share similar values and beliefs, including religious beliefs. Ultimately, I’m looking for the man that I don’t want to live without. He’s my best friend, and he loves and cherishes me just as much as I love and cherish him.     One of my really good friends once described me as an "Introverted Extrovert", and as far as my personality goes, that's pretty dead-on. Yes, I am very quiet and reserved, and unfortunately a lot of people mistake this as being snobby or aloof. The lucky few who stick around and take the time to get to know me quickly discover that I am not stuck-up at all. I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but I still enjoy classic shows such as Monty Python's Flying Circus and The Monkees. I absolutely have to be home on Sundays when there's a new episode of The Walking Dead coming on. I also enjoy documentaries and shows that will teach me something new, and usually stop the remote on whatever may be on The Travel Channel, The History Channel, Food Network or NatGeo. A lot of random artists share space on my iPod, but I mostly listen to classic rock, classic country, Southern rock, and reggae. Jimmy Buffett and The Beatles have been my unwavering favorites. What I am looking for in a guy is someone who likes to have fun, go out and will be happy to include me in his adventures. Having things in common is always good, but having differing interests is always a great way to discover new interests. Communication is essential. Even if your day has been boring and you have no exciting stories to tell, just a simple phone call or text to say "Hello, how has your day been?" would be enough to make me smile. I am old-fashioned when it comes to dating and relationships, so being a gentleman is a must! Ultimately, I am looking for a Partner who will always be there for me, no matter what, and will include me as an important part of his life. Dinner is always a good staple, and there are so many restaurants popping up on Magazine and Freret Street that I want to try!.. I've also always wanted to do a brewery tour at either the NOLA or Abita Breweries.
