I'm a confident, smart, driven, ambitious, successful woman and I'm very happy about the way my life has turned out thus far. I believe in living life to the fullest, we only get one shot at it. Life is far too short to be unhappy!... Anyway, I like lists, so perhaps this one will give you some more insight into me...-I am a Sorority girl & a geek (I refuse to fall into a stereotype)-I am fortunate enough to LOVE my job-I graduated in ***with a BS in MIS and in May ***with my MBA-I like to be challenged on a daily basis-I thrive off chaos-I have more optimism than 99% of the population-I love animals and can't imagine not having pets -I appreciate properly used grammar-I plan my days so that I can get enough sleep (8 hours or I'm grumpy)-I believe rainy days are meant for staying in bed-My favorite day of the year is the first time it snows-I listen to any kind of music (as long as I can sing along to it)-I am not a coffee drinker (though in the summer I love the occasional iced coffee)-I can't remember life before my iPhone-I own a home with my twin sister-I am notorious for having car problems, though my newest one is good to me...for now-I put on pjs as soon as I get home from the office-I love my 35 min commute for the sole reason that it gives me time to listen to music and sing completely off key...and I don't even care that other drivers probably give me funny looks :***I know. Shame on me. -*update*.. Now I want to go back for more!!!-I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I've had an acoustic for 9 years now and I've still yet to learn.What I'm looking for:Send me a nice message and tell me something about yourself! I get more than my fair share of messages, and while I promise I will do my best to read each every one, say something that will make you stand out.Chances are I will not respond to you if:-Your message or profile is written with bad grammar - dating is like interviewing...you wouldn't go into an interview looking sloppy or with typos on your resume...same goes for your profile and the way you present yourself in your messages-You only say "hey, what's up?" Look, I wrote a long profile, and if you can't find ONE SINGLE THING to talk about based upon what's here, I can already tell we won't get along. Keep it short & sweet. I'm not big on long exchanges before the meet-up, as I find that regardless of how much you talk to someone online you can never truly KNOW THEM until you get to interact with them face-to-face. Other than that, I'm a big proponent of the man taking the lead on planning it. Oh but hey, it's the 21st century and I do well for myself - I'm willing to go dutch on the bill, but you men are all so confusing. Some get insulted when you offer to pay and some literally wait for you add your share. Help a girl out and set the expectations up front.

    I'm kind of a mishmash of conflicting ideas and actions and thoughts. If you're set in stone in all of your beliefs and philosophies, we're probably going to clash pretty often. And if you've ever said or typed "KCCO" and weren't asking what it means or making fun of someone, I probably can't take you seriously. I'm either bouncing around like a maniac (literally and figuratively) or I'm intensely focused. I've been in college since I was 17, and I still don't know what I want to do. I have an awesome job that I love, but I can't see myself doing it when I'm 50. That being said, my job is also a hobby. I travel all over to attend lectures and seminars and demos relating to my job. I go on lots of road trips, am frequently going to concerts, love theatre, and am generally down for just about anything. Haha, I said "down." Silly wabbit, "down" is a preposition. I have a hard time giving much of a damn about what other people think of me. I have my self-conscious moments, but I'm typically having too much fun to worry about other people. It's hard to get too mired down when you're intelligent, have amazing friends, and possess an insanely positive outlook.****Having an insanely positive outlook doesn't mean that I don't have a succinct sense of the ironic and cynical, or that I don't enjoy it. ;)I'mma just get this out of the way now (whatever will your initial message contain now that you already know these things? >:D):The Clash, Bad Religion, Panic! At the Disco, twenty one ; I dominate 90s alt, 00s rock, and 70s punk when I play SongPop. :P Also...80s pop and Love Songs, but I didn't say that...Metalocalypse, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural, Orange is the New Black, documentaries of just about any variety, Firefly, Buffy, Home Movies, The Whitest Kids U'Know, The Kids in the Hall, Strangers with Candy. Guaranteed to be awkward.
