About Me

I like to have fun. I love going out dancing with my girlfriends. I can be serious when I need to be. I like to be spontaneous, but I don't always get to. I like learning new things. I love doing just about anything outdoors...camping, 4--wheelers, going for walks, etc. I would be perfectly happy driving around in the woods all day in my Carhartts and Danners, but every now and then I like to dress up. I have a 8 year old son who is, and will always be, the most important man in my life. He's awesome...everyone that meets him loves him. I'm a very loyal person. When I get mad I drive around in the mountains to cool off. I'm not the type of girl who only orders a salad on a first date...I'm the type that orders a steak, mashed potatoes, a salad, and dessert. :) I may be shy at first, but I'm not afraid to be myself.A couple clarifications:1. I am an English major, so please put together a somewhat proper sentence if you message me. No one is perfect, but an educated sentence can get you pretty far. 2. I am perfectly capable of, and very content with, taking care of myself. If you are over the age of 35 and you are looking to be someone's sugar daddy, do not message me.3. If I don't respond to your message within a couple of days it means I am not interested. I'm sure you're a great person, but just not for me. Please do not keep messaging me over and over again trying to get a response. Also on this note, I am working on a Psychology degree, which means I will not fall for your attempt at any form of a guilt trip or reverse psychology; it just makes you look bad. 4. I am not by any means a judgmental person, but I am picky when it comes to who I am attracted to. I eat very healthy, exercise regularly, and am very confident about who I am, both inside and outside. If you cannot say the same, please don't message me. I'm not trying to be mean, I just know what I want. Anything but a dinner and a movie. I'm not your typical girl, so don't treat me like it :)

First and foremost, I am a mother. My kids are my everything. I have worked in the medical field for the past 6 years and love every minute of it. My favorite type of music is country but will listen to just about anything. I enjoy singing karaoke every chance I get. A good night is hanging out with good people by a bonfire and having a good time. I am country and like going to the woods, playing in the mud, fishing, and just having a good time. I enjoy dancing as well. I love to joke around and be a smart ass at times. You cut jokes and I will cut them back. :) I like to have a good time and I'm always smiling. I am looking for someone who is independent and who loves to laugh and be silly. But there's times to be serious too. If you want to know more, just ask. :)

I'm a confident, smart, driven, ambitious, successful woman and I'm very happy about the way my life has turned out thus far. I believe in living life to the fullest, we only get one shot at it. Life is far too short to be unhappy!... Anyway, I like lists, so perhaps this one will give you some more insight into me...-I am a Sorority girl & a geek (I refuse to fall into a stereotype)-I am fortunate enough to LOVE my job-I graduated in ***with a BS in MIS and in May ***with my MBA-I like to be challenged on a daily basis-I thrive off chaos-I have more optimism than 99% of the population-I love animals and can't imagine not having pets -I appreciate properly used grammar-I plan my days so that I can get enough sleep (8 hours or I'm grumpy)-I believe rainy days are meant for staying in bed-My favorite day of the year is the first time it snows-I listen to any kind of music (as long as I can sing along to it)-I am not a coffee drinker (though in the summer I love the occasional iced coffee)-I can't remember life before my iPhone-I own a home with my twin sister-I am notorious for having car problems, though my newest one is good to me...for now-I put on pjs as soon as I get home from the office-I love my 35 min commute for the sole reason that it gives me time to listen to music and sing completely off key...and I don't even care that other drivers probably give me funny looks :***I know. Shame on me. -*update*.. Now I want to go back for more!!!-I have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I've had an acoustic for 9 years now and I've still yet to learn. What I'm looking for:Send me a nice message and tell me something about yourself! I get more than my fair share of messages, and while I promise I will do my best to read each every one, say something that will make you stand out.Chances are I will not respond to you if:-Your message or profile is written with bad grammar - dating is like interviewing...you wouldn't go into an interview looking sloppy or with typos on your resume...same goes for your profile and the way you present yourself in your messages-You only say "hey, what's up?" Look, I wrote a long profile, and if you can't find ONE SINGLE THING to talk about based upon what's here, I can already tell we won't get along. Keep it short & sweet. I'm not big on long exchanges before the meet-up, as I find that regardless of how much you talk to someone online you can never truly KNOW THEM until you get to interact with them face-to-face. Other than that, I'm a big proponent of the man taking the lead on planning it. Oh but hey, it's the 21st century and I do well for myself - I'm willing to go dutch on the bill, but you men are all so confusing. Some get insulted when you offer to pay and some literally wait for you add your share. Help a girl out and set the expectations up front.
