Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
I'm outgoing but a bit shy when I first meet someone. I'm honest, caring and easy going. I love long walks on the beach, hiking day trips, the farmers market and all the fun activities summer has to offer. In the winter I like to snuggle on the couch and watch a good movie or read a good book. I play on a recreation volleyball team twice a week and we have a lot of fun. I eat healthy, exercise and take good care of myself and I am looking for a man that does the same.I love to travel and have been to Maui, Cabo and the Caribbean and I would love to do more traveling in the future with someone special.I have one awesome twenty five year old son and friends and family that I love to spend time with but I am missing a special man to share my life with.I have worked for the same family owned company for the last fourteen years and take pride in my work and care about the people I work with. I also take pride in my home and am clean and organized "don't look in my closets" ;) and feel that my home should make me feel happy, relaxed & tranquil. I cook :( but I'm better at it if you cook with me, :) Drinking wine while cooking makes me a better cook. Or maybe after a couple of glasses, I don't care how bad it tastes. :) just kidding!I'm tall and am 5'10 with heals, I prefer a man that is 5'11 or taller. ") I would like a first meet & greet to be a casual cup of coffee or a drink to see if we have chemistry. Realistically I am only willing to travel 30 to 40 minutes away to find someone special.

Remember Superman?Faster than a speeding bullet.More powerful than a locomotive.Able to leap tall buildings in a single bound. The one super power he possessed that impressed me the most was the ability to change clothes in a phone booth. Have any of you guys tried to put on a pair of tights in a phone booth? Shoot, I need at least a 10'-10' area to accomplish that feat. I wonder where he changes clothes today. Although if the iphone gets any larger Apple will have to re-introduce the booth. If Superman had a profile on meetville how would he represent himself? The guy with morning breath, pet hair on the furniture, a bathtub ring and occasional science project in the fridge? The guy who gets upset when his favorite team loses or his best friend betrays him?Or would he be the larger than life, unavailable, and secretive Super Hero? The guy who's life is perfect and shiny like a new silver dollar? He's always in control, never feels angry. His dog never pukes on the carpet, he never loses his keys, has never had a bad haircut or overdrawn his bank account. His life is a well oiled machine; smooth and efficient. He was down to earth and approachable and in the end he was the man who won her heart.Prolonged contact with Kryptonite is the one thing that makes Superman weak. What is your kryptonite? What do you have crawling around inside your clothes that keeps you from being the best that you could be? Lust? Dishonesty? Pride? Desperation? Greed? Opportunistic behavior? One of mine is the inability to distinguish fools gold from the real thing.ABOUT ME:There are some who look down their noses at my type of work. I put in 12 hr days 4 days a week caring for a blind Alzheimer patient. It's difficult physically and emotionally, and the pay is low. It is a job most could not or would not be capable of doing. While most are sitting at their desk staring at their computer screens, I am on my feet: caring. When others are ready to stand and play, I am ready to sit and breath. I spend my first day off recouping. This usually involves sitting, working on a project, or strolling around the yard enjoying the fresh air. Then there are errands to run, bills to pay and things to clean. That leaves me a day to enjoy. As much as I love to help, I am unable to take on someone else's responsibilities at this time. So I won't ask you to work on my car if you don't ask me to clean your house.I put my dreams aside to raise my boys, so now I enjoy spending time alone working on my writing. I recently became interested in photography and plan to pursue classes. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing, Frisbee, badminton, festivals, live theater, art museums, golf, swimming, walking thru cornfields, eating peanut butter from a spoon, laughing with friends and movies that make me think, or keep me on the edge of my seat.At the risk of sounding selfish; I have spent most of my life taking care of others and now I am looking for someone who is able to give of themselves unselfishly. I'm not looking to be taken care of, just cared for. It's important to me that you have a favorite restaurant you enjoy visiting, I also have one I enjoy. I care that you like your coffee a certain way, and I like mine a certain way as well. I would like to find someone who understands that I have different interest, different likes and dislikes. At times I would like to share those things with this person as I would want them to share their interest with me, other times I would like to go it alone. I would like to find a friend first and see if it evolves into a partnership. I am looking for someone who can offer me good conversation, laughs and a companionship in which we both will be considered and appreciated. Actions speak louder than words. We don't know how to be alone. So we wander round this desert, and wind up following the wrong Gods home.....…..learn to be still. ~Eagles~ Surprise me, I love surprises.
