Let me jump right in with the things I love: I love the outdoors (hiking, skiing, skating, etc.). Out in nature is where I find peace. I also love animals, all types of music, art, movies, and new experiences.I'm interested in philosophy, psychology, sociology, and science in general. I'm creative, independent, affectionate, and liberal-minded with a good sense of humor (I hope). I'm a bit of a neat freak. I'm passionate, but without a lot of drama. I enjoy a good discussion and can see both sides of a topic, but at the same time, I don't like to fight or argue. I believe in treating others the way I want to be treated. And that's how I live my life. I enjoy doing volunteer work in my spare time (I have no children, so less responsibilities, more free time). I've done everything from helping clean up the coastline (I don't ascribe to a "princess" mentality) to a 5K run/walk to planting trees. I'm driven to making the world a better place while I'm here. Also, when volunteering, I get a sense of community--something that's lacking these days.I'd like to meet someone who shares a lot of my beliefs and interests, but also has a few separate hobbies. I don't care how little or how much money you have--I'm self-supporting. Every once in awhile, I need some alone time to reflect and recharge, and I will gladly give you the same in return. I'm especially drawn to creativity and intellect. Or Huckleberry Finn?I'll end my profile essay with a few FUN and WACKY facts: I adopted two adult wolves (don't worry--they live away from home).I went to the Vatican and down in the sepulcher, I had Deja vu (eeeeek!!!)I used to shoot skeet (hey, I'm a PACIFIST).I once won a dance contest--on roller skates! Anywhere is fine, as long as it isn't in a sepulcher! ;-)

Hello l!! - How are you doing today?? I am enjoying this part of my life and I am a Half glass full kinda girl, which is a great way to look at life.I am told that I am a positive person and a good listener. (trust me, I like to talk too) I have started taking care of myself the last few months, watching my food and exercising. I never knew this would be enjoyable. No worries, I am not fanatical about it, I am just enjoying my new outlook and like how I feel. I have two wonderful daughters that are all grown up and doing their own thing, so now its my turn. I work in an office where I do the Payroll. I really like my job.I am looking for someone who I can be myself around - easy going, laid back and who will laugh with me.I haven't made it out to many places but am eager to check out my surroundings.I would like to go out to an Express game, a concert, comedy club or nice dinner. :) My all time favorite type of music is Country. I enjoy some good ole Rock and Roll. I hate to say it, but i do like Reality TV - but not to worry, I have a DVR, so tv is never more important.I am going to list a few things i'd like to do this year. . I have been here for 7 years and live close to Lake Travis - but haven't done much on the lake. I went tubing on the Comal which I enjoyed a lot and would like to go again!! I recently went to Shooters and listened toYeah actual food :) my dinner tonite... two small shrimp. live music and LoVEd it! It was an 80's band and I really enjoyed it. Would love to have someone to go with!!All in all I'm looking to find someone great to hang out with and go from there. :) I am okay with keeping it simple. Meet for coffee, tea or even some frozen yogurt. :)Going out for a nice meal would be nice too.
