What makes me different than anyone else...well the fact that I am ME of course :)I enjoy camping and kayaking, days at the shore, evenings on the couch with a good book, movie, or mindless sitcoms. I'm free spirited, down to earth, with my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground. My family and friends are an important part of me and I enjoy spending time with them whenever we are all available. I have a small circle of friends and a rectangle of acquaintances, I like it that way. I like to believe that those close to me know me to be a good friend, listener, partner in crime, a little bit goofy and fun to be with. I'm not into the bar or club scene and would like the same in a partner. I don't mind going out to those places now and again, just not every weekend, or very often. I believe honesty and mutual respect are important foundations for a relationship to build on. Communication is key.I won't be impressed by what you have, but by who you are, how you treat others as well as how you treat yourself. I'm not looking for perfection, as I am far from perfect, I'm just looking for someone perfect for me. I'd rather skip the first date and move to the second...then there's less awkwardness! I believe a good first date would be a walk in the park, or on the beach, to talk and listen and learn..to make it to that easier second date :)

    This is a work in progress, so please bear with me. I'm a divorced mom with two sons and am actually a grandma! (Darn kids) Anyway, I certainly don't feel like a grandma. I keep pretty active and run four times a week. I love being outdoors and would like to find someone to who enjoys it as much as I do., and am very excited that preseason has started. I think the only sport I really have no interest in is basketball. I love animals, dogs, cats, horses. We actualy have had snakes and lizzards in the house too.
