I have a very busy life so that has relegated me to the world of online dating. Here's what I've learned so far. Some women want to be pen pals, are looking for a sugar daddy, or are using their HS pics. If any of these are you, I'm not interested. The other observation I have is this. Women say they want a lot of things... Smart, funny, family guy, Christian man, etc... but many really just want sex. I'm actually kind of shocked. Once again, if that's you, I am not interested. I want to meet someone who really wants to be in a relationship. We don't have to get there overnight but ultimately, I'd like to find that special someone I look forward to coming home to and my heart beats a bit faster when I get a text from you. I'm beginning to think I will not find anyone serious online but... Live in hope, not in fear. So, if you survived my rant and you're funny, intelligent, crazy enough to be fun but not committed, enjoy trying new things, and want a real man that will treat you the way a woman should be treated and not play games, then read on. I'm intelligent, funny, laid back, got a decent job and am very active in my kids' lives. In my free time, I like to spend time with my girls, listen to music, work out, go to concerts or sporting events, and cook. I'll cook if you do the dishes, lol... Better yet, I'd rather you cook with me. I also love the outdoors and the peacefulness it has to offer. I look at life a little different than most and am able to live life on life's terms - not much gets to me. God has a plan for me so why worry. I try to live life to its fullest, and believe in trying new things. I will try almost anything once (keyword: almost). I'm big on continual improvement and am willing to own my part in things. I am not controlling or jealous and I don't really have a "type" of woman that I'm interested in, just be yourself. I believe God has set us all on our own paths in life. Some paths never meet, some miss each other by just a little bit while others cross and some even merge together for a short time or forever. Who knows where paths might lead, but we need to be willing to take that first step for the journey to begin. Our first meeting would be something simple where we can talk and get to know more about each other like coffee, drinks, dinner, or ice cream and a walk in the park.

First and foremost, I AM NOT HERE simply to hook up. To me, women ARE NOT meat and I do not and I will not view them as such. There is a plethora of crap and persons of bad intentions out there. (Suddenly that whole “meet the parents” ordeal doesn’t seem so intimidating now, hunh?!)Those who really know me would describe me as ambitious and passionate (and fluently sarcastic with a penchant for procrastination!). That is, I pursue work and success with all of my brain but I pursue life and love with all of my heart! I would really like to happen upon, to learn about and to grow close to someone without the nonsensical drama and futile games. I am a very confident guy but drama and games are often what you seem to find at some bar. I seem to have always been drawn to classy women of strength, intelligence, Independence, perseverance and sophistication. Though, I have no set list of desired characteristics. I set no expectations. I would rather focus on you as you exist here and now. Simply stated, I want a teammate. I do not need a coach and I will not coach you. I make loyalty and reliability a priority towards those I care for. (I don't even own a Playstation!)
