Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

This is the hard part. I am not good about talking about myself, but I guess that is something that should be worked on. I enjoy most all outdoor activities....even fishing if someone will bait my hook and take off my catch...lol. I just tried paddle boarding and really enjoyed it.I am blessed with 2 sons ***that is older and my youngest that lives with me part time. He is a huge part of my life and I enjoy watching him play baseball. I am an open, honest, caring person....sometimes to a fault. I don't really care for the club scene anymore, but willing to do anything with someone I care about. Hmmmm......this is where we see if there is a chemistry...a connection...a comfortableness with each other. Maybe going to a festival or art fair or something like that where we can talk and also have other things to interact with to allow conversation to flow and not feel pressured. I am open to suggestions though because many first dates are what the other person feels comfortable with also...over a drink...coffee...lunch....in otherwords, don't feel like what I said is is what you should shoot for on the first date.

(* or early Nov. Searching for a residence now. Want to be near my son at U.T. Hoping maybe to meet someone before I get there - to show me around and keep me company. We could use the time before I move to chat and get to know one another...see if we have things in common. ---Relationship-seekers ONLY please. And, even though it's lengthy, please read my profile. Thank you.---*)First, I will let you know that I am VERY bluntly honest...even though I know some people can't seem to handle that - lol! ;) I work as a medical transcriptionist from my home, which adds a lot of solitude to my life. I haven't been getting out like I should, but, when I do go out, I like going to bars/dance clubs/concerts (HATE country music - am a rock-n-roll girl who some refer to as "ROCK" I like to canoe, boat and fish. I am an adventurer and daredevil by nature. I have raised three wonderful children - the last of which will be going off to college in just a few short weeks! (scary!) I guess, at my age, I am now reflecting back and wondering how I have ended up alone...how I could have chosen my relationships so unwisely in the past. I have so much affection to give, but am actually quite terrified to give it anymore after so much heartbreak. Yet, I just can't seem to give up on the thought that there is someone still out there for me. It may take me a long time to really trust and believe in true love again, but hopefully someone can me to get past that. Please don't fault me for being honest. I feel it's the only chance I have to meet someone that I am truly compatible with - who I can spend my life with. And, no...that does not mean I am looking for marriage, but I do want a life partner either way - someone to share the good, as well as the bad, times with. I want love that endures all. Maybe I am a hopeless romantic deep down, because I think true love does still exist...somewhere. I am definitely not looking for one-night stands. I do think serious intimacy is a very important part of a relationship and am a little unconventional/cinnamon in that regard (never any complaints - lol), but think these things should only be discussed after a REAL and LASTING spark/connection has been established. Thanks for taking the time to read my small book here. Good luck to ALL! :) FRIENDS FIRST ONLY - never know what the future may bring, but NOT wanting to be anyone's FWB and NOT looking for a sugar daddy. I would rather be poor and in love than rich and in denial. ;)

Hi guys,Thanks for stopping to look. I'm at the point where I feel like it would be nice to go out with someone other than one of my friends, most of whom are married, catch a movie, play some pool, darts, or go fishing. Yes, I said fishing. I love it. I like most outdoor activities, as long as I'm dressed appropriately. Hate being cold. .As for what I'm looking for here on meetville...I think I want what most of us women, serious about this search, are looking for...a guy that'll make me look twice, and stimulate my intellect. He should be employed and able to care for himself, be well-groomed, be witty and polite, be intelligent but able to be silly at times. Please have a gooooood sense of humor! I tend to gravitate toward a tall-ish, stocky-type guy. The rest is open for discussion. Because I know some of you might want an interpretation of "tall-ish"...I'd say 5'10" and up seems to fit the descriptor. This should eliminate some earlier misinterpretations, or denials of the definition of tall...ish.I really am just a girl, looking for THAT guy that'll make my heart race when I see him. I miss that feeling. I am looking to date, with the intention of developing a long-term relationship. If you're interested, please feel free to drop me a note. If not, that's cool, too. "To each his own", right? Best of luck to all of us!L "First date" seems like it needs a little more clarification. It can mean different things to different people. If it were the first meeting, I'd think a comfortable, reasonably quiet atmosphere would be best to be able to get to know each other a bit. Have coffee, a beer...you know, just like everyone else says. ;o) If all goes well, I'm sure more plans will be made.
