Have owned IT training business for a couple of years before going into teaching so that I can have 13 weeks off a year! Of course its my vocation in life to teach kids...the holidays are just a bonus! No further work related ambitions other than to regularly check my diary and highlight my time off...did I mention 13 weeks? i know your jealous and hate teachers! Have traveled a bit - Would love to travel more during holidays and put my time off to good use! I have an apartment in Turkey on the Aegean Coast and look forward to getting to it, want to join me?I have a 13 year old son, he is all grown up now and is genuinely no bother.Compared to other profiles I think I have covered quite a bit! I'm rather a creative individual, I enjoy writing children's stories, doing art and crafting things.Quite frankly I'm a bit of a geek.I'm a big fan of anything sci-fi or fantasy, and anything that is really imaginative.I adore meeting other creative people and swapping ideas.I've been on this site a few times over the years on and off and I've met some really nice ladies and it has been a privilege to have them become friends.however as I get older I'm finding that all I am getting is female friends, not that I mind but it would be nice to meet someone really special to share my life with, however I will admit that I'm a bit socially awkward. To be truthful I'm a bit out of touch with the dating scene. I guess since most of my friends have got married and had children I find it difficult to go out and socialise now.as a result of this I tend to spend my weeknights and weekends at home either writing or being otherwise creative.I have a five-year-old son who doesn't live with me and I see him fortnightly so this only allows me the opportunity to go out once every two weeks which once again doesn't really allow me time to socialise.It would be nice to meet someone who understood this, someone I could have long conversations with about all sorts of subjects as I do like to chat.Personality wise I like to think of myself as an old-fashioned romantic, witty a little shy sometimes and perhaps fun. I guess just keep it simple, a quiet place, a drink or two and plenty of time just to chat so as to be able to see if there is a romantic click or not.
