My first date would be a nice meet up somewhere you can hold a conversation, get to know each other a little and then if all goes well, either plan a second date or continue on with the first date. Perhaps listening to music, taking a walk on the river, a riverboat cruise...Its always nice to date a gentleman, a man who remembers what dating a lady is about. This gentleman would have my vote if he showed up with flowers...opened doors for me, took my coat, pulled my chair out, opened car doors, had a plan on the evening if all went well. I like to be pampered and spoiled as I would do the same for my date. Its all about being respectful and considerate and honest...Also, I think a good date with someone would be where the gentleman actually read my profile and followed the description of a first date or what my interest are. But, in general just a good fun evening where each of us feels special and respected!

LOL I know not all guys are attracted to this (would rather have a brunette or a bleach blonde) but lots of women pay tons of money to get my hair color! LOL I have been off this site for over a year - was just fed up with the crap you have to deal with. However, I am ready for a great ***and want to give all options a chance. So, here goes nothin ... by the way my update below from quite a long time ago still stands true - friends first and see where it goes ...UPDATE: If you are only fishing for SEX, take your fishing pole to some other pond! It seems lots of creeps on meetville - that is all they are looking for! I grew up with a dad who took me fishing a lot but I am tired of this online fishing! There are so many creepy fish out there! Don't get me wrong, if I am in a one-on-one monogamous relationship, plenty of sex needs to be on the menu. I don't like having sex with mutlple people or sharing my partner! I do know the fish I seek needs to be unique ***of kind maybe? Should be creative, open minded, adventurous, excepting of many different types of human beings (Can you except my Emo-Scene daughter and her boyfriend who wear mostly black and gages in their ears and snake bite/angel bite piercings)? They are good kids - just trying to express themselves. Are you adventurous and fun and a little crazy at times with a serious side as well? As for music, I am pretty wide open with my likes - everything from rock to country to Christian to folk and jazz. Even classical on occassion. Music I listen to depends on my mood. The only kind I don't care for is rap and head banging heavy metal (oh yeah and Opera). I used to write poetry, draw and watercolor paint, but over the years as a single mom, I got too busy to do it. I still write poetry sometimes. As retirement years come around, I hope to get back to those hobbies. In the mean time, I enjoy my flower and vegie gardening in the summer months and cooking in the winter months. I also enjoy taking nature photos when I get a chance. I have to say up front that I am really not attracted to guys with a heavy beard and full facial hair (gotee or mustache is okay - not bushy beards***sorry. I would like to be in a relationship with someone but if it is not right, I would rather be alone. I have been divorced 16 years now. I have raised my daughter on my own and she is almost grown up now - just turned 19. Yeah! Time for me now. I am attracted to taller guys with a somewhat professional side or at least smart - don't need to be in a white collar job. I like a guy who can wear jeans/get dirty - Mr. Fixit type/Outdoors type. I have lots of projects around the house I can't do myself and it is always more fun to do things with someone rather than alone. :( I love nature and being outdoors. I have two cats and a small dog - just letting you know in case you are allergic to them. For those avid sports lovers - I like the social aspect of it all, but not much into just sitting and watching the games.. :( I rarely if ever watch or attend a football (except the Packers) or baseball game and I don't golf.I don't really spend too much time on this meetville site but last year I was sitting at the dining room table on my laptop and searching through profiles on meetville saying YES, NO or MAYBE MEET (I don't bother with this anymore), when suddenly there was a loud thud on the patio door. I looked over and there was a Mourning Dove dazed and confused sitting on the ground staring back at me. In less than a few seconds, a large Red Tail Hawk landed and swooped up the Mourning Dove and flew away. The only trace of this was a scattering of Mourning Dove feathers on top of the snow. I am thinking this is probably a sign from God about this site! LOL I am not really active on here much but I do peek now and then. By the way - guys with NO pic I will not respond to unless you can send pics. Also, I am not into the IM chat thing, so PLEASE send a message. I won't spend too much time writing anything now. I would rather meet in person and see if there is a connection and chemistry. Need to just meet first to see if there is a connection so any public place would be fine - dinner, drinks, coffee, lunch - walk - talk.
