I like to laugh just like the next person and think I have a fairly good sense of humor (so I am told). That, to me, is important in a partner. I know there are a lot of people who say they smoke on occasion but I am looking for an all year 'round non-smoker. I think an important thing on a first date would be to go somewhere not too noisy and communicate. Whether it would be over dinner, coffee, frozen yogurt, your choice.
