About Me

I am a teacher, here in the State of Florida. I have been teaching 25 years. It is my great passion. I have been married twice and have 3 grown children 2 daughters and a son with their own families. I live alone, but I am not lonely. When I am not at school or with family I do enjoy my alone time. I do not get much chance to read during the school year, but whenever I have a holiday I try to read a novel or two. I live in Florida and I do enjoy being within 2 hours of east and west coast, 1 hour from the amusement parks. I spent a few years in the Orient when I was in the military and I came to understand the meaning of family in a way that as an American I was missing. I always thought I would return and find the happiness I saw in families I met when I lived in the Orient. At my age am not looking for just a date. I date now, nothing serious. Now I am looking for the woman I want to enjoy my life with. Things I cherish....family. I have a daughter that lives in Ohio. I love to travel there in the winter. Play in the snow. Nothing like a cold, snowy winter night. So clean and fresh, and so quiet. Then into the house, hot chocolate and a good book by a fire. I cherish my profession. Love my students. Give them the best I have to give. I love great novels, good music, concerts, plays. Football, golf, and amusement parks with my little ones. Looking for the "one".
