I'm strong, responsible, nurturing and intelligent...but also, funny, adventurous, rebelious, spontaneous and fearless. I'm seeking someone who has a little bit of that Peter Pan syndrome (meaning unwilling to grow old gracefully) as well. I don't really like to live by the rules others set as a standard, nor do I compare myself to other people. I'm laid back, but I have a strong work ethic. I'm responsible, but I love to joke around and make others laugh. I want to take care of those around me, but I will call out a whiner when I see one. I'm smart and well educated, but I tend to laugh till I snort at low-brow comedy. I'll try anything once and not much scares me away from doing so...so I'm a country girl with street cred! I've traveled the world. I love to people watch. I've never been jealous. I'm open minded and I'm around people of all types on a daily basis. I work in the fine arts. I LOVE children. I'm a single mom. I do it all and balance the world on my shoulders without complaint. I do well for myself, so I'm not concerned with what a man earns...but I do care about the respect he has for himself and those around him. I'm looking for someone, not because I'm lonely or NEED anyone, but because I want a partner in crime and someone to laugh at my jokes!I would like it if he were active and liked to go places and do things. I love to travel. I love to see theatre, and I encourage my children to play, and we do things outside our comfort zone sometimes...like dance on the lawn or cow tipping. I'm not into the gym, nor do I jog. I'm a real woman with a real body. I'm fluffy where I'm supposed to be and I don't care if there are jiggly parts. What you see is what you get. I am a great mom to my older, independent children with whom I have awesome relationships with. I am at a point in life where I have the freedom to go and do with ease (my youngest is 16). I live a "drama-free" life. I have had an ideal divorced parenting arrangement with my childrens' father for several years.I am down to earth and easy going. I'm happy and enjoy life on a daily basis. I can find the good in most circumstances and in most people. I laugh easily and want to be around others who are also optimistic and sincere. I am intelligent and confident and most importantly, I'm so much more than just a "pretty face". I want to find someone who can appreciate the sincerity I have to offer and return the same.
