About Me

I am a very laid back person who has a beautiful daughter. She is, and always will be, the light of my life! I love to look at life as a new adventure, I try to help people find the best in themselves and am easy to talk to. I am not a girly girl, but rather tend to spend my life in jeans and a t shirt....sometimes shoes :) Once a decade, I may dress up, towering over most people in my high heels! I take myself seriously when I need to, but have a childlike outlook to life. I tend to be better friends with men, as shopping and hair/ make up talk is soooo boring! I am looking for someone who can laugh out loud, dance in the rain, and who doesnt take themselves too seriously. I am always honest and expect the same from those around me. I am getting back into being more socially active now that my daughter is older. :) Things I have noticed about myself:* I have ugly feet and really don't care :) * I enjoy people watching and sometimes *** social situations, talking on elevators, sitting next to someone on a completely empty metro train, asking people if they like the items in their shopping cart while waiting in line.*I have the worlds WORST luck....I have tried to change this with no success.....at least it makes life interesting.*I cannot complete simple life tasks without something unusual happening, I always expect, and encourage, the unexpected. **I am competing in my first Warrior Dash soon and may be dead as a result.*I don't easily embarass, but have been known to try and embarass others. *I would rather be back country hiking in Yellowstone than attend any function where I have to dress up.....unless I can attend that function in my back country hiking clothes :) *I truly like to help people in need*I watch Dog the Bounty Hunter....*I refuse to buy a new car *My cell phone is just that, a cell phone.....may have a camera on it, but would have to check ;)*I am not as big of a pizza fan as I should be.*I love broccoli*I burn easily, but am convinced that it will peel off into a tan......hasnt worked so far but I am hopeful*I am a good driver*I have a torn acl and am putting off surgery......UPDATE- recently sucked it up and had the surgery.....now in recovery.....ugh! *The only hair product that goes in my hair is shampoo. Cant see the sense in paying for hair supplies when I barely brush my hair :) *I have strong opinions and love to play devil's advocate. Healthy debates are good. *I still own 2 VCRs and watch movies on them regularly*I am a pole fitness dancer....no, not stripper pole, but hard a hell athletic pole fitness.Pet Peeves:*People who insist that they dress their dogs like people....yuck!*This vampire movie/ book phenomenon....ewwwwww*and 2 pet peeves on this site:*Photos of guys with no shirt....I find it creepy*Edit/ spell check/ complete sentences.....if I can spell check and use complete sentences, so can you!     Hi, I was on here a few months ago and I did meet a few very nice people but decided to give myself a bit more time on my own and now I'm back! I value family, friends, hard work. Sometimes just relaxing and laughing can be the best times - it just takes being with the right person. What am I looking for: He should be confident, honest, caring, have a good sense of humour and should be financially stable. My ideal partner is my best friend quite simply put - he's someone I can talk to, someone I can look after and look out for and someone to do the same for me.
