About Me

I am a 39 year old, single mother of a 10 year old boy who is absolutely brilliant. We love adventure, exploring and learning all there is to know about nature, science and the outdoors. Sports are fun to be a part of but academics are stressed even more. I am a former teacher, daycare director and juvenile probation officer who loves children of all ages; but, most importantly, I love God with all my heart. Jesus is my reason for living and the second is my son. I am very sociable and try to make everyone feel accepted and appreciated. After all, if the world can't see Christ's light and love shining through me, how am I any different? People are very important to me and I am looking for a wonderful man who would love to explore the amazing possibility of finding a best friend in me and do life together. I don't believe in perfect people; but, I do believe in people who are perfect for one another. I hope to find/be found by the one God has for me and absolutely believe in love as not only a commitment but also a choice. May we all choose to love and be loved! I DON'T DO BORING - excitement and fun make life so much better! It doesn't matter what we do on the first date, only that there is wonderful conversation, lots of laughing and a feeling that tells us that we want to do that all over again when we leave. I desire someone who enjoys spending time together, no matter what is done. One of the most appealing things I find in a man is one who is not afraid of much - even the kitchen ... and not afraid to clean. If he can cook a meal from time to time and help out with dishes, he would be well on his way to melting my heart. If that same man knows how to play music, well, that's just an added bonus as I have been a singer since I was 4 and would love for him to add music to my lyrics!
