I do tend to come across as a tough girl hard as nails with a rough exterior. But once you get to know me I have the biggest heart I just tend to keep it hidden. But it is just a defense mechanism. If you come with a child I will never be first nor would I expect to be. You also come with an ex who will always be part of the relationship and I just don't want to start a new relationship off that way. With my job I see all of the heartache this brings and I would rather be honest and just say I don't want to start off this way. I am sure I am missing out on some great guys but I am willing to take that hit to be a priority. So it really should be with someone you care about so you can laugh about it and make it really rock the next time. I am big on family. I spend lots of time with mine. My parents have been married for over 42 years and have set a standard. There is nothing wrong with me being 35 and never married with no children. I only want to be married once and expect to stay that way. I want to raise my children in the same type of household I grew up in. I was never in a rush to do so. Yes I have been in long term relationships and I have had my heart broken. I have the strength to know what I want and not to settle. Life is too short.Each relationship I have been in has taught me something. Sometimes it was a harsh lesson to learn but it was obviously something I was supposed to know. (sometimes I had to learn the lesson more than once :) )I want to travel to Australia. I am scuba diver but it has been a while since I have dove. But I would really like to dive there. I would also like to see the galapogos (not sure that is spelled right) islands and swim with the turtles. I used to be terrifed of sharks. But my big brother being the loving brother he was made my first dive after certification a shark dive and a shark feed. So I am cured of that. LOL Our family is known for traveling together when we can. Which is awesome. I have been skiing (water) since I was 6. But spending the weekends with my brother and friends at the lake can be fun. But I will be honest and say I didn't go one time in ***. But this year is my year to return. Who knows? Depends on the person

Well hmmm :)… First and MOST importantly I am a single mother of two young children ages 4 and 6. They are my world!! So, enjoying children is a must, my children are everything to me. :)I am here just to see what is out there and maybe chat with someone that has the same drive, focus and values as I do. I tend to show more interest in men that have children, since they seem to understand the wonders as well as challenges of parenting, but it is not a date breaker if a man can understand my busy role as a fulltime single parent. :) Someone that has a stable job and drive to better themselves by learning life lessons and not settling for second best. Someone that is not materialistic or egotistical. A man that would not be afraid to get his hands dirty yet is gentle and caring enough to lean over and give me a kiss as he checks his oil. ;) I find men that hunt and fish extremely attractive... I may not want to clean a fish but would love to sit next to a sweet guy and catch them! ...and maybe rub it in when I catch one that is bigger ;) I also should mention I have strong views about guns. If you do not like them or don't like to be around anyone that carries then you should probably keep looking, I am not your kinda girl! Turn ons: Tall men (I wear heels sometimes so a man still a bit taller than me with heels on!) Goatees, nice eyes, sweet smile... ;)I LOVE music, and enjoy pretty much anything but rap. Like country, and pretty much anything you hear on the radio with a good beat. Would love to learn how to play the guitar, it is on my "to do" list. ;) TV - I don't watch a whole lot but love Duck Dynasty!
