I am a single mother of a 7 year old boy. He is my number one priority always. I work full time, lead my son's Cub Scout den, go to my mom's every weekend and try to have adult fun at least twice a month. Hobbies include any activities that are kid friendly. Cuddling up for a movie in the winter and anything outdoors in the summer... outdoor music venues, the beach and parks are regulars. Spending time at the cabin will always be a favorite wkend vacation. On the other hand I love to go out and party, LOVE to dance :) Got into hoop dancing, thanks to my mom. I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I like to cook and have always enjoyed the arts.My favorite music which I would contribute to my parents is reggae. Favorite all time being Bob Marley :) Otherwise I listen to pretty much everything but country. 88.1 is usually whats on in my car... the kid loves it since we visited the station for Cub Scouts! lolI am stubborn, opinionated and can be brutally honest. I think how straight forward I am scares people off. I demand respect. On the other side I would consider myself a very, very affectionate, protective, caring person. I love to laugh! You could consider me a bit of a jokster.. ... Some qualities I want in a man.. someone that has their own job, car, place etc... Someone who likes kids and being goofy. I would consider myself quite liberal, so my man would have to either have similar views or a very open mind :) Dinner? I'm open to anything a lil more creative :)

    I am working full time (and then some) as well as being a full time single mother to a 1 year old, both of which I love. However, if I had my choice I'd be outdoors/exploring new places and things to do! I can't wait to take my son to visit zoos and going camping. I am attempting to do my best at passing along my love of music as I am a band geek. My ultimate vacation would be to visit Australia for a full month to make sure I can get as much sight seeing, exploring, and snorkeling in as possible.I'm very much a people person. I love my job as a medical assistant in a family practice office. I get to see a little bit of everything and learn from a doctor who has practiced medicine for 52 years! My family is very close and I love it, especially around thanksgiving and Christmas. Seven parties in about as many weeks! Good times :)I don't currently have any pets but I love animals. I would catch and play with snakes and dissect roadkill lol I still go barefoot whenever possible and have every intention of doing whatever I can to make sure my son doesn't grow up to be a complete city boy (though it would be nice to not have to drive almost an hour to work every day!) I do, however, greatly appreciate someone who will kill spiders for me. I can do it but realllly don't like it!One last thing: I'm a liberal. If you're like the majority around here and a conservative--As long as that's not a deal breaker for you, then it isn't for me either. Let's all just get along, shall we? :) Something fun and casual, like putt-putt haha. I love to laugh--perhaps a stand-up comedy show? Or ending the night by laying out and star gazing and attempting to figure out constellations. Zoos and parks are an all time favorite option too. One confession I'll make on here--I'm pretty much a geek in several ways, such as the fact that I don't find natural history museums boring. I LOVE them!
