I find this on-line dating stuff intimidating but here we go! I'm a quiet, laid back, easy going person. I'm devoted 100% to the people I care about; my kids, my family, my friends. I'd like to add a special someone into that mix. While I enjoy an occasional evening out I also like the simple things like walks on the beach (I live 5 minutes from the waterfront trail), hiking and long drives. You know you're comfortable with someone when you can go for a drive and just hold hands and not have to talk to fill the silence. I like all animals but have only two cats so I don't qualify to be the crazy cat lady yet! Love dogs but just don't have the time for one of my own. I truly do like all kinds of music from pop, hard rock, country, classical, heavy metal, even some rap. I have two older teenagers with extremely diverse tastes so I get exposed to lots of musical variety!I like a guy who knows his way around tools, both the car and house variety! Easy-going, down to earth and honest and a good sense of humour! Yes, the sense of humour is as important as they say it is! Family is important to me. My two teenagers live with me and although they're older, they're still a large part of my life. I know at this stage in life no one comes without ties and commitments and I respect that.I'm would like to find someone local.     I have no real hobbies, i just like to go to the gym after work and relieve some stress from the work day. I would like to get involved in cycling, and stay in shape or get in better shape.
