I'm a very easy going lady who is, luckily, easily amused. I think my friends would describe me as thoughtful, warm, genuine, insightful, and quick to laugh. I can be somewhat careful or slow in letting others get to know me, but in the meantime I think my laughter stands out since it can be quite gregarious! While I don't see this at all, I have been told by reliable sources that I can be a little quirky and tend to march to the beat of my own drum.I enjoy my work a great deal and feel good about helping others to improve their lives and to heal. Along these lines, I think a lot about how experience shapes us, where we've come from, where we're gong, how we stay the same, how we change. Endlessly fascinating, sobering...insert any adjective...it would fit!During my time off, I love spending quality time with friends. What we do is much less important to me than being able to connect. I can walk for hours on end browsing stores along the way and stopping here or there for a snack or a drink. I've been teaching myself to sew, but haven't made a successful item from scratch yet. Thrift stores are my specialty and love a great find! Sometimes hidden in the rubble I find old yearbooks and enjoy sifting through the photos and messages and getting a glimpse of a someone's past.
