I also coach tennis and dance. I love the beach any time of the year. There's something about the water that's just cathartic to me. People watching can be pretty entertaining, too.The fall is my favorite season, and I love everything about it... pumpkins, apple picking, hiking, Thanksgiving, etc.I've traveled all over the Caribbean, and have discovered some amazing places. I love to ski and spend many weekends in VT. I'm a big Patriots and Red Sox fan (usually goes over well around here), and I love taking road trips to see both teams play. Well, maybe a sunny Sunday spent out on the water...I'm a planner at heart, but not opposed to being spontaneous now and then. I like having things to look forward to, and have become a pseudo-"Julie McCoy" amongst my groups of friends. I'm figuring out that I have a pretty good grasp on what I'm looking for...and what I'm NOT looking for...however, it's not exactly easy to put into words. I believe in communicating not arguing; calling rather than texting. It's pretty difficult to get to know someone via text conversation.We've all got a past, and I think everything happens for a reason. I've learned that you can't judge someone based on things they have done or situations they've found themselves in because, in reality, all of those things made us who we are today. And I wouldn't change who I am for anything. We can meet for anything from a drink to dinner. I'm not much of a coffee fan, so Starbucks is out...First "meeting" doesn't count as a date, FYI :)

Well, I like a litle bit of everything! I like peaceful times at home, cooking dinner together or watching a movie cuddled up on the couch, but love to go out or just spend time with friends and family. I tend to be organized and practical, but would drop everthing for a fun adventure. I am understanding, caring and very supportive. Family and friends are a very important part of my life, especially my 12 year old daughter. I enjoy listening to all types of music from top 40 to early 90s rock, and even country - although I can't two step to save my life...believe me, I've tried!- my friends and family and I have a few movie lines we like to slip into everyday conversation. I can even occasionally sit through 'guy' movies, well, maybe not science fiction or horror - and I won't even talk too much! Travelling is one of my favorite things to do, even though I haven't been to many places I would love to see more of the world!I am looking for the all around nice guy - someone to laugh with, have random conversations about anything. Someone to share the day-to-day life things with. A guy with an optomistic outlook and thoughtful romantic tendancies - opening the door, texts just to say good morning or good night or that he is thinking of me. I am looking for a relationship where we are comfortable just being ourselves. I think affection is really important - holding hands, hugs, cuddling. Chemistry is essential in a relationship and I think that it can develop through friendship, shared interests, mutual respect, and a great smile. While I ultimately would love to find someone that I just 'click' with long term, I think that starting out as friends and getting to know each other is a great way to begin. Probably start with a coffee or a drink (cliche, I know) just to break the ice. Depending on how that goes, move on to dinner or a walk...maybe even all in the same day :)

So I guess this is the hard part... writing about yourself. I guess I would start with saying I am someone who has her stuff together. I have a great job for a great company that has treated me very well for the past 15 years. I have fantastic friends and family and I love spending time with all of them. I own my own home and car and take pride in the work that I do and the company that I keep. I am laid back and have a stress free life. It is just too much energy to be stressed about things and worry. I just do not want to be "that" person who lets everything get to them. Life is way too short. I am a firm believer that if you are not learning from everything that you are doing then you are not living. Hands down rule #1 of life. I wouldn't be doing online dating if I had met the one by now. But now that I have life together it is not as easy as it used to be. I am tired of the bar scene and just want to use this opportunity to meet some great men and see where it goes. I know that there are great men out there. Show me. As for me, what do I like to do. I love taking a hike in our Metro Parks, biking the trails. I love all kinds of sports and enjoy watching most of them in person. I like to stay active and have a few fun things planned for the summer in the form of a Dirty Girl Run, Color Run, 2 sand volleyball leagues. Messy fun. I recently purchased a bike and am really enjoying riding it every chance I get. I love concerts and any live music. I like to travel and have several US cities still on my bucket list. Always up for a trip to a beach somewhere. Heading to Cabo this fall and I am so excited about it.I work hard in my job and try to have fun with everything that I do. However there is a time to be serious as it cannot always be fun with a capital "F". I am educated and although I do not have to take continuing education courses through my work I do because I like to learn. I especially like to learn from other people and what their lives have encountered. What am I looking for.... Someone who wants to get married and have a child, God willing. And not someone who wants this 15 years from now. I am open to men who currently have children, are divorced (not seperated) and still willing to have additional children. If that is not you, then I understand. I am looking for a man who is in my age range, preferable plus or minus 5 years from my age. I just know who I am and what I want and what I represent in this world. Take it or leave it. I would like to find a man with compassion, is romantic, is spontaneous, likes to travel and has the means to travel, loves sports, likes music, willing to try new resturants but is just as content with a movie night in with a homemade dinner and a bottle of wine.
