About Me

Well.....about me? I am a woman who is ready to live! I was married for 15 years, and although it was a mostly happy marriage, adventure was definitely something that was lacking. So here I am...searching for that certain someone to enjoy the many adventures life has to offer. I'm not looking to jump into something serious right out of the gate. I would like to meet, date, get to know...at a "easy" pace. If the "chemistry" is there...we will see where it takes us. And although chemistry is elusive and difficult to find...I will not settle for a relationship that lacks it. It is just too important to me. So I have just begun the new adventure of travel nursing...a way to travel and get paid for it. For those that don't know what that means, it means I work for an agency and I travel all around the US for assignments usually lasting 13 weeks. Currently on my first assignment. But the future isn't written and who knows what it holds. I am also a firm believer in the importance of creating that ideal balance between work and "living" life. Sometimes easier said than done but you only get one life right?! What I'm looking for??? That's even harder than describing myself. I really have no idea...but I'm sure I'll know it when I meet "him." He has to be up for trying new things, and if there's something that I would like to try and he's done it already, he's got to be willing to do it again with me. Relationships take time and commitment on both sides. So if we get to that point...you HAVE TO make time...regardless of other "commitments." I LOVE to laugh so a sense of humor is a must. I'm a sucker for a "killer smile" and eyes that reflect that smile. I'm attracted to men that are a bit taller than me...I know that's not hard to do since I am only 5'4", lol. But I love to get all "girlied up" and wear heels sometimes and I REALLY don't like being taller than my man. No offense...there are some good looking great men out there under my "preference" but it's just not what I'm attracted to (sorry!). So, that's it from me. If you want to know more...just ask.     Yes, if you don't like****tiels, please look for a crazy cat lady. I am a full time fashion student looking to complete my B.A. at CSUS. I love to sewing clothes and costumes. The fashion class this semester focuses on advanced Pattern drafting. Which will help me create my own patterns from measurements. I will be using my education to start a custom clothing company. I want to create original bridal, prom and costumes. Currently, I resell vintage sewing patterns and do odd fashion jobs for my steampunk friends.Cooking is my next hobby, Thai green curry has to be my favorite dish. Although, this was my worst cooking disaster, see you don't use the whole green chill, keeping seeds make it way too for human consumption. I research and read *** lot more carefully now. For a short time I lived on the east coast. Most of the traveling was part of being in the Navy. I watch a ton of zombie movies but Sci Fi are top of my list. The books, I have read this year include, Soulless, Garden Spell, Night Circus, 13th hour, LOTR, and The Host.I like to swing dance at mid town stomp. I have been to Tango By the River.
