About Me

I'm a moderate, Christian, woman with a love of life and family. I'm positive, happy, Independent, and I have a great sense of humor. I can be very sarcastic so please don't have a stick up your backside. Humor is one of the biggest things that attract me. I have 4 adopted children and one bio child. Their ages are between 2 and 15. 2 of them are severe special needs that will never walk or talk. One is blind but otherwise "normal". This must be OK with you! If these type of children make you uncomfortable than I'm not for you. I love them and they are perfect to me. Because I think every child needs a chance....I am very pro life. Please be too. I am not "Daddy shopping" here. I adopted my last 2 as a single mom and I am doing just fine. Two of the children that came during my marriage go to their dads every other weekend. Of course, if our relationship went very far, you would be required to love them. :-) I like listening to the news and keep up with current world events. I love music and have it playing often in the house. I don't much care what kind.I go up north a couple times a year, hang out with my friends, BBQ, fish, swim, Play some poker. camping, fishing, and hanging at the water parks MUST be your idea of fun to date me! These are my favorite things about summer. I have a few friends That I keep very close. Im rarely seen doing things without them. I am there if they fall and extremely loyal. I'm not into sports so I hope you have good friends to watch with. Not into bars or clubs but dont mind if you go. I'm not a drinker but I have nothing against it either. Go have at it with your buddies :)I like to spend time with a man but i'm not the clingy type. Jealousy and clingyness is a huge turn off for me. Just looking for a little normalcy and intimacy in my hectic life style. I like a strong, confident, man. Not one that needs to be lead around.Not one that plays video games all day either. Hopefully one with some gumption and ambition. One that has escaped the emasculinization of this generation. (and the brains to know what that means!) I would love to have a man I dont have to"mother". (really, dont I have enough kids?) I am not an ATM. I don't mind going Dutch at all but please have your own life together. I know that might sound awful but you have no idea the men that are on here! I usually weed them out before we even meet in real life..Are you still reading this? Boy it's hard to write this stuff, isn't it? Anyway, let's see, I was married for 15 years...got divorced in 08. He found someone else and left. I was blindsided but not bitter. The divorce was drama free and we remain friendly. Ummm...I like to build things and do projects around the house. I'm fairly handy and know my way around home depot.So, I know there are men out there with big hearts. I see them in my adoption groups.Good men and good fathers that can see down to the heart of a child and love them for who they are. I need a man that is selfless and giving. Someone to talk to and cuddle with by a fire...and just be happy with life! Probably dinner. Lol as you can tell by my photo, I like to eat. I don't know what else. It depends on what's happening around town. I'm not really big on a movie on a first date. It would have to be something we can talk during. Museum maybe? You pick.
