I'm a registered nurse in an emergency room. I am also pursuing a career as a nurse practitioner. I own a home where I live with my cat Dawkins....yes, after B. Dawk. I'm fairly active...I will make many efforts to go to the gym at least 3 days a week, but sometimes after working 12 hour shifts, that is the last thing I feel like doing. I take very good care of myself. No cavities, no medical issues, and I like to stay up to date with all the latest fashions......but I will not wear fake hair...GROSS. My nails are usually done, I love wearing makeup and smelling good. I wear dresses, and high heels or a fashionable pair of boots. Don't get it wrong though...I'm not materialistic. I'll sport sweats and my UGGS when I'm chilling around the house, or when there is a Wawa or Home Depot run. But for the most part I like to look presentable.I am very honest...some say brutally honest, but I don't necessarily think that is a bad trait to possess. Heck, I'd rather have a honest, up front person in my life than a bold faced liar!!!My intent for this dating experience is to find someone that fits my criteria and vice versa. I realize that nobody is perfect, and face it, I'm in my 30's and I don't look like I did when I was 23. If a real MAN is looking for a 30 something female to look like she did when she was 23 then you should be looking for a female that age. But if you are serious about being in a relationship with someone established, then you've come to the right profile. I'm not putting my looks aside, I am a damn good catch, but I'm also realistic.I'm a fun chick, mostly everybody and anybody wants to hang with me...I have a great sense of humor, but I'm also serious when need to be. I hate games... and dudes who play "hard to get".. forget about talking to me. I despise that more than anything. If I like you and you like me...why not talk more than once a day? What are we in junior high? I mean grow up. If we meet and you don't feel the vibe, than erase my number....don't sympathy text me...there's a ton of men out there, and you will be forgotten.I also don't tolerate jealousy or controlling men. I'm old enough to know what I want, and having someone I'm interested in telling me what to do really sux.Ok, that's enough....if there is more you want to know about me, then I guess you'll just have to ask!!Cheers! I think a drink or two or three is appropriate for a meet and greet...

I am seeking someone amazing - beautiful in thought and action. Your material success only matters as much to me as it has shaped you in some way if you have achieved much. I have three strong components to my personality and would ideally like to find someone who connects with one of those sides: Intellectual, Geek, Fitness Buff.Thoughts, words, and ideas are important to me. I've found myself most attracted to smart men. Men who think about the breadth and depth of our world. I have a masters in philosophy and practiced Vipassana for 8 years. I would love to hear you talk about your favorite book, the idea that shifted the world under your feet, your first experience of "god" however you personally define that. I'm classically trained and a season ticket holder to dance and music at a couple venues so also connect well with artists. If you enjoy the arts (high and low) we will likely connect.I can remember watching the very first episode of STNG with my mom when I was eight. I cosplay and have numerous friends who are programmers (even took a few C# classes myself so we could geek out together) and gamers. If you are into comics, cosplay, cons, anime, gaming, we probably have innumerable topics to discuss. I'm a former full time fitness professional and still teach 10 classes a week in addition to my full time day job in the health care field. I can honestly say that my favorite thing in the world is working out. I was not fit growing up, quite the opposite. Fitness changed my life and I am extremely passionate about it. If the phrase: "Do you even lift?" means something to you, we are definitely going to have something to connect on.My friend circle is small but tight, my acquaintance circle is broad. I would love to hear yours. Drinks on Capital Hill.
