Oh for gods sake WHY!!!!! How many times does a person have to describe themselves for strangers? I have tried unsuccessfully to sum myself up before and don't know what to say. I am presently employed as a labourer on the pipeline and am out of town alot so starting any sort of relationship proves to be quite difficult. I'm not looking for someone who feels the need to take care of me as i'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself!!! It would however be nice to meet someone who loves to travel and is financially able to do so. I travelled alot when i was younger and had no problem doing it on my own but as i get older i think it would be more enjoyable to share the experience with someone special. Am looking for someone that takes care of himself and is confident. As far as age goes i would definitely like someone around my age. PS There is this button on your computer that will check your spelling for you....USE IT!!!!! It is a real turn-off when someone sounds illiterate or just can't be bothered to put forward a good impression. Sorry for the rant but some of the profiles i have been reading sound like they have been written by someone in elementary school! I am quite shy so going for a drink would probably be the for the best. A couple glasses of wine is usually enough to get me chatting!

I play a few sports (volleyball, baseball, golf) and watch lots of hockey and football on TV. UPDATE Aug ***: Just registered for my first-time hockey season! Stoked! Never played before, so this could be a great comic-relief opportunity for you!..I am smiling nearly all the time. I'm a glass half full kind of girl.My bucket list includes a cottage on a lake and lots of room for guests. A canoe for two or two canoes... I listen to all kinds of music (except scream-o) but must admit that my pre-set in the car is set to New Country... and I sing in the car like no one can see nor hear me! Some nights I like to hang out in a pub, while other nights I enjoy curling up with my dogs and a good book.p.s. Just to be open and honest... I have a half-back tattoo that has special meaning to me... and I will likely have more work done eventually. :) Interesting conversation at a pub (with a pint or two) or perhaps at a cafe (with a nice latte).A walk along the parkway or trail.Something where we can get a good conversation going and get to know each other better.

I guess I am a little old fashioned. I truly enjoy a man opening my doors for me. It makes me feel special and pampered.I would love to meet someone who can make me laugh with his crazy sense of humor, sarcasm and goofy playfulness. Someone who makes me feel those butterflies in my stomach every time I see or think of his smile. Someone who wants to hold my hand to show how much he loves me, not to show that he owns me. Someone who values honesty, integrity, family, friends......and me. Someone who is kind, considerate, loving and respectful. Someone I can slow dance with. (Even if slow dancing means standing still, swaying back and forth, so that my toes stay in tact.) :) Someone who understands that all of these things I’ve listed are important to me and will be reciprocated. Okay, so, a little about me..... I have a quirky/goofy sense of humor. Sometimes dry, sometimes totally off the wall. I am the one who shoots the end of the straw wrapper at you. I don’t like taking myself very seriously. Of course, I can and do, when needed. I hate extreme heat and humidity (it frizzes my hair, damn it!). I need to quit cussing. I don’t really drink but don’t care if others do. It gives me something to laugh at. I have been at my job for almost 18 years (they have tried to get rid of me but I won’t leave). I hate to do yard work. Who really does??? Ugh! I have a huge yard, so guess who gets to do a LOT of yard work anyways! I love the beach and the sun. Kind of contradicts what I said earlier. Well, it doesn’t have to be extremely hot at the beach. Noooo way!! A couple of BIG things..... 1. If you are or were one of my customers, I am not going to go out with you. PLEASE don’t contact me....can you say AWKWARD? 2. If you are married and supposedly have an open relationship, I’m still not interested. I kind of want to get married, too, someday. 3. If you are unstable in ANY way.....or maybe you just kind of think you might be, please move on. I have had the psycho get upset with me because I couldn’t drop everything to talk to him and am not wanting to go down that road again. Okay, now that THAT”S out of the way. If you are still interested, send me a message. If I don’t respond, that is my polite way of saying that I am not interested. I’m not saying I am too good for you or anything else. Most likely, there is something that just won’t mesh with me or there is just not that attraction there, sorry. Please move on and don’t *** times. Thanks for looking and good luck in your search!! Dinner or just a walk in the park. It really depends on our interests. Somewhere where we can talk and get to know each other better. Please, just be yourself. I will probably talk to you like I have known you forever. That's just the way I am. Just be real and it's all good. :)
