Laughter is the best medicine for all that ails you!I have four fantastic, beautiful, amazing children. They are by far the most wonderful thing in my life. Much to my dismay, they are getting older, and I get that I am not nearly as cool as I used to be. The up side is that this leaves me with more time for me!I am a pastry chef and I absolutely love my job. I feel like every day I get to go to work and play. I specialize in wedding cakes and custom cakes, although I do make all kinds of other goodies as well. I love all animals and we have a house full of them. My daughter just got a bird, and I now believe we have completed the food chain. I think I am somewhat atypical in the fact that I love sports. I am an avid Red Sox fan and baseball is by far my favorite. UConn basketball, Celtics, Bruins, and football, but the Patriots, not so much!As far as what I am looking for in a man. Honesty and loyalty are on the top of the list. Dishonesty is a character trait that I have no tolerance for. I would love to find a man who is tender hearted and gentle, romantic and will show affection easily, yet also has a very passionate side. Holding hands, snuggling on couch while watching a movie, neck and back rubs. Kissing …. now there is a topic un to itself! I love to kiss. There are so many kinds of kisses. Tender and romantic, playful pecks, long drawn out soulful kisses, and of course hot, passionate kisses. You can tell so much about a man by the way he kisses.I came across this quote recently and I think that at this point in life it is so true ...“We’re all seeking that special person who is right for us.     I am what you call an older woman! Wow, This statement sure did creep up on ME! But it IS True! I don't feel older, but yes, I DO look older. My physique may not appear older, however, the lines on my face prove I am not 20, or 30 or Even 40 years old anymore. HOWever, I feel in my heart that the only aspect that has kept up with my age in numbers are the decisions ,choices, and priorities I choose . I thrive on the moment. Enjoying the little things in life now. Not the expensive outfit, shoes or purse I am sporting, but the life experience I could be enjoying with that hard earned dollar. I love the outdoors! Nature is a cure all for me. Staying healthy, both physically and mentally! That is a must for any companion in my presence. I have been alone for over 10 years, my children are all grown up and do not live locally. My dog of 14 years just passed away, and I am truly alone now. But that's OK.....I am fine with that. However, to find someone to share what has blessed this "older" woman's life with, and the exciting possibilities this life will continue to offer would be comforting. Honesty is a must. Energy is a plus. And respect for your body is a Priority! Please do not respond if you are an older man that has succumbed to A SLOW, boring, nonACTIVE lifestyle!     Hi! It's been a great summer so just wanting to keep a positive thing going and hoping to meet new friends. I like to have fun and enjoy the simple things like a warm fire or long walks. My family and friends mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. My job is very important and sometimes stressful so I balance it out with fun times when I can.
