well, i'd describe myself as the girl next door type- sweet, honest, real & sincere.. Not to say i don't appreciate a lot of what big city life has to offer as well- it's so fun to go to Vegas or LA for dinner and a show!my best friend is a gay guy. he's so cute but i'm kind of tired of doing well, gay stuff!! it'd be nicer to have a man look at me with at least some sort of interest in what i have to offer hahai'm 32 and honestly thought i'd be married by now. perhaps because we've yet to meet ;)in short, i definitely have strong morals and values but also consider myself to be pretty easygoing/lighthearted. people often tell me that they've never met anyone quite like me, that i have a good head on my shoulders and sometimes that i'm a dork :pi have wonderful friends and family so haven't been too aggressive about dating but lately as i see more and more friends fall in love realize that's something i need in my life as well- friends and family just aren't cutting it in that regard lolall that being said, i know there are good people on this site- i'm proof I'm really attracted to smart or talented guys and i'm looking for that special someone to sweep me off my feet. I know he's out there somewhere x no kisses :p

I'm a confident and independent women. I'm very happy with my life, the only thing missing is that someone special. I came to this site because I'm tired of the bar scene and it's very difficult to meet people in my line of work. I'm looking to find my other half, my plus one, my best friend, and partner in crime. I feel that great relationships take time to develop and I don't intend to settle. I'm looking for a gentleman who is confident, fun, intelligent, kind, and honest. Someone with sharp wit and a zest for life who enjoys new experiences and challenges and wants to share in my life. It's impossible to define compatibility or chemistry. We don't have to have everything in common and it's exciting when there are new areas to learn from one another.I have an awesome group of friends and a loving family that I'm very close with. Those friends and family would describe me as honest, klutzy, silly, funny, thoughtful, spunky, and laid-back. I like to make people laugh and love being around people with a great sense of humor. I can be sarcastic, but I'm not mean. Overall I’m just a fun nerd that cleans up well. I have a diverse set of interests and am always up for trying something new whether it's in the city or hours away. I can have fun doing pretty much anything. Getting dressed up and going out is nice, but I also enjoy casual nights at home relaxing (in my Snuggie...haha). As far as food goes, I'm not a picky eater at all. I love to eat and also cook/try new food/recipes. I love to watch sports and stay active. I think physical fitness is very important in case the Zombie apocalypse becomes a reality. Something casual such as coffee or drinks in an environment that is quiet enough to talk and get to know one another.

So at work, we have to share what are called "fun facts"... I suppose that that is as good a place to start as any. I have a pretty varied taste in music, but if I had to choose a lowest common denominator, so to speak, I would say that I tend to gravitate most towards heavier, moodier, percussion based music. Mostly....I feel like I'm a happy person; I consistently try to find the best in every situation. Oh. And I have a pretty high nerd factor.I aspire to move beyond the basic understanding I have of German, Hebrew and Persian and to finally become fluent in at least one of these languages. But then I feel like I should stop everything and learn French.Community service is incredibly important to me. I feel like everyone, myself included, has a responsibility to refine their character and to actively contribute to the advancement of society. I'm pretty old-fashioned; I think it's best to keep expectations at the friendship in the beginning.
