About Me

I have had some success on this site in the past, so I thought I would give it another try. I have been a Firefighter/Paramedic for almost 12 years, and really enjoy what I do. It is an extremely fulfilling career, and I am very fortunate to be able to do what I enjoy.I am confident, independent and comfortable in my own skin. I like to keep balance in my life and I know what makes me happy. I have a great sense of humor (sarcastic at times) and I am looking for someone who can make me laugh. I am attracted to guys who are passionate about what they do and genuinely enjoy life!!I am pretty much a t-shirt & jeans type of girl, but I enjoy dressing up, too. I am just as comfortable tailgating at a football game as I am at a formal event. I like to travel and discover new places...anything from a spur of the moment road trip to a tropical beach!I'm divorced, and have had a couple of long term relationships since. I believe that a relationship takes effort, but is worth it when you are with the right person. I truly enjoy the respect and friendship that a good relationship can bring.I am pretty athletic and like to keep active. I'm in the gym ***days a week, run, bike and LOVE yoga!! By no means am I perfect (I do enjoy my pizza and beer), but it would be nice to find someone who lives a healthy lifestyle. It's always more fun to have someone to go to the gym and help motivate each other!!BTW...Naturally my hair is more on the red side, It lightens in the summer and I get a few highlights...going back a little darker for the fall. Casual first dates are always the best.... I am always up for a bike ride, run or walk. Dinner or a comedy club works too!!

    I am an observer and a creator. Whether it is through my job or my free time, the majority of my existence is spent making something. I enjoy creating things and experiences. My interests are a random mix. I enjoy sewing ALOT. I am a giant fabric whore. I usually do that in the winter as I am outdoors during spring, summer and fall. I am lucky enough to listen to music most of the day, everyday and spend time looking for new music. I love when I find something I love so much that I listen to it over and over and over. Movies...I prefer comedy above all else but will watch anything as long as it doesn't involve violence. There is already enough of it around and I prefer to not fill my mind with that. I really enjoy trips to new places. I like driving in the car. It is really relaxing to me. I like history. I like laughing, I like talking, I like listening. I am really active and have a pretty busy schedule, but know when I need to rest and relax and I am not afraid to take the time to do it. I listen to NPR and watch PBS. I love humor, sarcasm and wit, but only when its appropriate, as I take others very much into consideration. I get really excited about alot of things, because again, I enjoy experience and I enjoy people.

    First and foremost, I am a proud mommy of a wonderful five year old son that is my life. We are busy with taekwondo, football and wrestling. He's a really great kid! I would be outside all day every day if I was able to be. I enjoy grilling out with friends and drinking****ails around a bonfire. My favorite food is sushi right now. I try hard to eat healthy and take care of myself but I do tend to cheat and pig out every now and then. I run every morning in order to do so without guilt.
