Hi ya! For starters, I actually look like my pictures. They are all recent and no, I haven't gained 50 pounds since they were taken. Whew! So now that's outta the way. So online dating, huh? The men are afraid to meet someone fat, and the ladies are afraid to meet a serial killer. meetville is chaotic at best. It's free, so I guess that's why you're here too and we all know that we get what we pay for. Sometimes, I find myself scratching my head at how nuts this site can be. Why am I still here then? Good question. I am convinced that I can't possibly be the only sane one. Maybe even the men will start wearing a shirt in all their pictures. A girl can dream, can't she? ;)In short I am looking for someone dynamic, witty, good hearted, emotionally mature, and adventurous that can keep up with me. I'll try most things at least once. I take good care of myself and expect that you haven't let yourself go. * I think bad boys are actually bad. * I do not think texting can replace a real conversation. * I am practical and non materialistic. I've always found flashiness to be a form of arrogance. * I don't wear make-up to run or work out. * Typically, I am attracted to Asian and Caucasian men. * I tend to move at a snail's pace when it comes to beginning a relationship. I need someone that is on the same page with me and treating me like a lady is definitely a must. * I am comfortable around all kinds of people and pride myself on being non judgmental. * I am constantly on a quest to be a 2.0 version of myself. * I am not afraid to get my hands dirtyHobbies/interests: reading, writing, running (love, love mud runs), jewelry design, exploring new places, rock climbing, extreme sports, drawing, trying new food, volunteering, traveling, photography, architecture.Goals: finish MA, perhaps PhD, work on bucket list, find someone fantastic to stand still with, and be the best mom ever (when I finally become one)! What makes me unique: I am super fun, warm hearted, witty, spunky, optimistic, practical but not materialistic, not afraid to get my hands dirty, and a self proclaimed bad ass. I also believe in giving back to the world. I think we all have a purpose and it is to leave the world just a little bit better than we found it.* in your message. Thanks for reading and good luck in your own search!***Coffee, after all it's just a meeting of sorts. No pressure and low key is the best approach.

First off, thank you for being part of the 3% that actually reads the profile. I don't blame ya, of course, I can barely make it past the height...I was tempted to cut and paste an old middle school essay on Stonehenge (with photo of my brownie reconstruction), but I have some time to kill before spin class. I'm often told I have a "guy" mentality on things. And by that, I mean, I pee standing up. I kid! I kid! I appreciate dirty humor and am drawn toward the elusive combination of**** yet chivalrous. Self confidence is hot. So are good triceps.Although I am extremely open-minded, I will not date civil re-enactors, bad tippers, bad spellers, and people who use the words "irregardless" and "supposably." You must also pass the escalator test, assuming you are one of the lucky that make it that far.....), but have traveled extensively around the country with my previous career as an archaeologist (no, I didn't dig dinosaurs, yes, I have a whip). I still have the wanderlust, so an adventurous spirit is a must! I firmly believe that a first meeting should be temporally short, with the option of extension. Time is valuable and if a connection isn't there, then I'd rather not waste my time. Unless you're taking me to Alinea. Then I'll deal with the fact you look nothing like your photos. Kidding. Kind of.
