My interests are very broad. I enjoy lounging around the house playing video games (YAY DDR!), sitting on the deck soaking up the sun, hanging out with my friends and my kids, going to movies, camping/traveling, or an activity that gets me out of the house. I love watchng sports and cheering on the home team in person or on tv. I'm somewhat adventureous..I have travelled to visit people I've met online, and would like to visit several more one day, I have participated in GISHWHES (ask me if you want to know what it is, or google it), and am contemplating ziplining for the first time. I also have my Black Belt in Meibukan Goju Ryu.Laughter and family is very important to me. I'm an only child and look after my mother. My friends are my extended family..."family doesn't end in blood." And if you get that reference, you know I'm a Supernatural Fan :) There is so much more to me that I'd love to share with the right person. I think options for a first date is based on the personality of the people going out. It could be something fun like go-cart racing, laser tag or mini golf. Or it could be something like a wine tasting or microbrewery tour or even as simple as just grabbing a cup of coffee or a beer. I don't think a movie on a first date is a good idea - I mean how can you get to know someone if you have to be quiet for 2 hours???
