I enjoy fixing up things around the house, target shooting, cooking, eating out and pretty much everything else normal (and not so normal) people do. The Spring and the Fall are my favorite times of year. My tastes in music vary widely, anything from country to rock but not much of a rap fan. I had 15 years in the fire/ems service. I'd love to find my partner in crime who will be my best friend as well as my lover. Someone who has their head screwed on straight but also knows how to let their hair down and act like a kid now and then. Lets face it, physical attraction is just as important as being attracted emotionally. No lies, no B.S. and no drama please.Hopefully you live within 30 min or so as I do have a career and also have 2 kids(my dogs are my kids)to care for. Hmmm, what else, its so hard to talk about yourself so anything you want to know just ask.Being a couple have asked, YES I do have all my hair.....??? Anything that allows us to talk and get to know each other.

Hello and thanks for stopping by. First off allow me to explain my "Headline"; I'm your average run of the mill 40 year old. I'm comfortable, but not edgy, dangerous, or anything else that seems to be what too many are looking for. I don't have a Harley. I do want a boat but that is 10 years away. Mostly due to my wanting a very large boat that I can spend a few days at a time on. Two of my kids live with me, my fifteen-year-old son and twenty-year-old daughter. If kids are a problem, just go ahead and stop now. My daughter will likely live with me until she is out of school. Same with my son, except the whole med-school thing... Maybe I should take a moment and relate why I am here. I'm completely comfortable being single. Most of the time. I was on vacation earlier this year when I really started thinking about not being single. While I did have a pretty good time; I cant help but to think the experience would have been better had there been someone to share it with. So, after a few months of thinking about it, here I am. I have a decent, respectable, boring job. Or at least most would think boring, and to be fair when all is running smoothly it can be a bit mundane, but just let ***, or a network segment go down, then my friends it becomes anything but mundane...I'm a bit of a frustrated comedian. If we spend an hour talking and you don't laugh at least once, well then someone's having a bad day... I especially enjoy talking with someone who has a perspective that differs from mine. No, that does not mean I like to argue, far from that, I'm of the opinion that listening to someone with a different opinion is a great way to learn and grow. While I'm in the subject of differences; most people just simply don't get it. Differences are not a good thing, they are a great thing. To boil that thought down, who would want to live somewhere where every house looked like the other? Where cars were only sold in one make, model and color? where all trees were exactly alike, or flowers of only one kind and color. No my friends, it's the differences that give our life texture and depth. I enjoy everything from Football, to Downton Abby. Yes I'll freely admit I watch Downton Abby. In my defense it's a great show. If you haven't watched it I highly recommend it. I would like to think I am a modern kind of guy. My tastes in most things tend towards Scandinavian design. With the exception of cars, strictly German. I'm polite, sometimes to a fault. I open doors, pull out chairs and say please and thank you. I'm also rather direct. I don't see any advantage to beating around the bush. It is far and away best living space I have ever seen on TV. With the possible exception of the Jetsons... Yes I said Jetsons, I'm a geek, so it's to be expected.About her. First and foremost, I have no idea what package she will be wrapped in. I read so many profiles where it seems as though the “look” is more important than the person. Not me. No way no how. Well, maybe a little. Here are my only physical qualifications. If I can’t scoop you up in my arms it probably won’t work. If my fingers don’t touch when giving you a hug, it certainly won’t work. Beyond that I don't care... Unless maybe you have a third arm growing form your forehead, you have to admit that would be a little off-putting.;Imagination is more important than knowledge.""Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.""Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.""The only real valuable thing is intuition.""A person starts to live when he can live outside himself." "Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character." "I never think of the future. "Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds." "Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.""Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen.""Science is a wonderful thing if one does not have to earn one's living at it.""The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.""The only thing that interferes with my learning is my education.""The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking.""Peace cannot be kept by force. It can only be achieved by understanding.""The most incomprehensible thing about the world is that it is comprehensible." "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them." "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school.""The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.""Do not worry about your difficulties in Mathematics. I can assure you mine are still greater.""Equations are more important to me, because politics is for the present, but an equation is something for eternity.""If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut." "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe." "As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain, as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality." "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." "The fear of death is the most unjustified of all fears, for there's no risk of accident for someone who's dead." " If you spend two hours with a beautiful woman, you feel, at the end of the two hours that you've spent only two minutes with her.

I have to write something or they won't let me post my profile. Ask and I'll answer. Pics are about 2 years old. Still look the same. Very relaxed and easy to get along with. Ok, still not enough. I have to write some more. I hope it's enough this time. Side note, I just found out my dog likes to eat caramel cremes. She likes red fish too. :o) And tacos. This just in, she likes jalapeno and cheddar dip.
