About Me

Life is a journey and everything we experience teaches us something and makes us better people. I know what I want and don't want in the next chapter of my life. ABOUT ME...I enjoy most music, although country and rap doesn't do it for me.I'm very passionate about food... Love great sushi, Italian, a great steakhouse, etc. Truly enjoy a nice dinner with good company and a bottle of wine.I'm very outgoing and fun to be with.Have a great sense of humor... (So I'm told)I'm sensitive and able to read people really well.Prefer a day at the beach or warm weather vacations over the cold.Loving and affectionate.Animal lover.Happy cooking a great meal at home if you bring the wine. Not a big sports fan (sorry - grew up without it) but my son is an avid Mets / Jets / Giants fan, so happy to join you supporting your favorite team at a game or on TV.I'm very loyal and extremely protective of anyone I care about.ABOUT YOU... I'm a sucker for a man in suit but like him in jeans and a t-shirt too. A great sense of humor is a must, especially if it's sprinkled with sarcasm. Be interesting, smart and confident. Please also be gentleman.Be serious when necessary but playful too. Have your own interests and hobbies, so we have a lot to talk about. In the end... Chemistry is most important!MY FAMILY...I have two beautiful teenagers, one in college and one at home. Raising teenagers is difficult as a parent, simply because we can't fix all their bumps and bruises with a kiss and a band aid. That is an enormous challenge for me, as I like to think I can fix everything and make it all better. I am very nurturing by nature.WE ARE NOT A MATCH IF...You have multiple tattoos.Exaggerate or lie about your height and/or age... We can tell. Open.... Meet for a Drink / Tea / Coffee

Ok..after my deep breath (can you hear it lol)...here it goes. Bluntly, if infidelity is part of the reason you are in this situation,( and you were the unfaithful one) you will have a hard time getting me to understand. But you could try. ( uuummm, good luck if your so brave) I have always been a one man woman. If you have kids and don't take care of them to the best of your ability, unless extreme circumstances, you won't like me very much.I easy going and open to all kinds of people as long as they are honest, true to self, unselfish and not judgemental (drives me insane!)( It's so hard to be me lol). You have to want to laugh, even if at yourself sometimes. I have sacrificed fun for quite some time, and need to have more of it. I'm am sooooooo not high maintenance, and I have been told this is a fault of mine. My high maintenance? Holding hands, a shoulder for my head, walks in the park, looking into my eyes, and laughter. I guess I can learn...and kind of look forward to having a little of it. I do love flowers though, and a card bought with thought says the world to me. Throw a letter in there and....the day is good:)I really have never "needed" a man, but have "wanted" a man. Huge difference. I walk side by side with you. Not in front of nor behind. I dress up or down depending on the occasion. It's sort of a "transformation" process.Yes, I am educated, but am learning more by living life. Should you meet me, you will know that my education is the last thing that I exude. I am down to earth and my formal education has nothing to do with that.Weathering storms ... taught me to communicate my needs as they are worth listening to. It has also taught me to not to shut people out.. I forgive others as it is not just a gift to them but it is a gift to myself. . Fighting ... Nope, agree to disagree, I have learned that inhibitions are unnecessary and quite honestly, *** won't fight for a man, but I will fight for love. If the two go hand in hand, it is a blessing.I have lived through more "drama" than one person can take. I have no patience for it. Take that as a warning lol. I live my life with a few mottos: Tomorrow is another day, and the one I like best...MAKE it a good day. take some responsibility for "making" your day good, and not just waiting for it to happen.I am traditional in my beliefs morals, and values and I believe they are worth living by. I have been burned by this, but don't care. I do it for myself, but most importantly, to be a role model for my two boys. No matter what, they will grow up to be fine young men.. I use sarcasm as a defense mechanism. (Tell me I am being sarcastic, and I usually stop) I pick my battles and don't waste energy on the small irritations in life. Hopefully you have done the same. I tend to be comical, but sometimes don't get jokes and mess up song lyrics :). Additionally, I CAN'T sing. I tend to dance in the car with my teen-age boys, and it drives them nuts. I say so what, it makes me giggle.I don't have any expectations right now except to treat me like a woman for at least 10 minutes a day. Even if it is just an adult conversation, as I don't need ***attention. My kids are my life, and that will not change until they are adults and on their own. I would take a bullet for them, but I need to be more than just a mom at the same time.I have faith in many things, and being happy is one of them.Mom and Dad, 52 years. Learned what it takes to make a relationship work (even though it's not always pretty)I continue with my gift of gab, and hopefully you have been curious, even if for a minute.
