So.sell myself to strangers :/ i've been properly single for over a year, although i have meet some cool people along the way but it's a relationship i'm after.. Being a chef limits me to going out and actually meeting new people, and the stigma surrounding online dating has rather dissipiated over the last few years so i no longer feel an idiot for trying this approach. I can be quite shy when it comes to meeting new people, though i am quite confident for the majority. I can be quite idle, that comes with my job,so i often find myself on my days off watching movies or reading. I like foriegn cinema especially and films that make me think. Requiem for a dream and life is beautiful being among my favourites. Im an avid follower of many different musical genres, too many to mention here, but going to see live bands or djs are what i consider a good night out. I attempt to dj,mainly drum and bass and i play a bit of piano, though,if i'm honest,my equipment spends more time gathering dust, which upsets me a little but finding the time and not upsetting neighbours kinda takes priority.I am whimsical and unpredictable and live my life rather spontaniously (again i blame my job,an easy excuse,i know!) simple things please me like black and white photos, driving rain and coffee and cigerettes in the morning.A hopeless romantic at heart and still dress like the emofag of my teen years, dreaming of love the way adam lazzara and daryll palumbo have been screaming about all these years. If you know who these guys are, well,i'm already sold :)

I’’ I work as a research scientist for a living, which I enjoy even though it can be soul-crushing at times! While I’m into the usual sorts of things, I prefer to stay as active as possible and so tend to play sport fairly regularly.I’ve an unashamedly sarcastic personality and would hope a passable intellect! While I’m happy with how things are going, it would be great to meet a woman who’s fun and interesting to spend time with, can make me laugh, and can show me new places or wants to explore. Or alternatively you could just live nearby and fancy a drink together... I think a first date is mainly about getting to know someone, so something simple like sharing a bottle of wine at a bar is best. Then if that works out well we can look to do something more inspired!

Work with the Army has kept me pretty busy and out of the country for far too long now but luckily I find myself back in good Old Blighty for the foreseeable future. I was recently told by a colleague that this internet dating malarkey is a great way to meet someone who you might not normally bump into. Hell, whats the worst that could happen? (apart from meeting an internet wierdo who wants to harvest my organs!) There is no longer any kind of stigma involved with finding someone online, more than a few friends met their partners on sites similar to this so why not us?What am I looking for? Well I wouldn't say I really have a 'type' per se but if you like to live life, not spent all your time sat in front of the TV but love to get out, travel, explore and not take yourself too seriously all the time then I'm sure we will hit it off. It has made meeting new people a bit harder than it should be though and I'm kind of over clubbing now, so here I am trying something new. Without trying to sound cliché, I would consider myself to be pretty outdoorsy, and I don't just mean that I like getting drunk on patios.. I'm into anything that gets you out in nature and I love to travel. But then again who doesn't?. I think I have prattled on enough on here now. Why give everything away. If you fancy having a chat and seeing what happens then give me a shout. I look forward to hearing from you!
