About Me

I know, cheesy headline, but read on and you'll understand why I said that! Most important thing about me is that I love to write. That is my passion in life. That is what puts a smile on my face and keeps me smiling all day long. Creating a story, whether it is science fiction, romance, action, thriller, and watching it come together is the best part. "What if?" is the biggest question that I ask and it really does bring out some interesting storylines. I question everything and the resulting storylines can be pretty wild sometimes! A lot of the times, people think that I'm quiet, but I'm really just madly planning a story away, or simply observing what's going on around me, that's where I get my best ideas from. Careful now! Once you get to know me and I'm comfortable around you, it's loads of fun! I still speak and read French. Yes, I am here legally. ;) I like to call things the way that I see it, either you can handle it or you can't. I'd rather say what I really think and have a good discussion be the result than say what is considered politically correct. I work hard throughout the week; my job keeps me on my toes as the Director of Orientation for the company that I work for. But I love what I do and I love seeing the people that I trained succeed; I find it really rewarding. I am working hard to set up a business on the side, I really want to become my own boss one day and run my own business.I'm somewhere in between average and a few extra pounds, truth of the matter, that usually depends on you (yes, you who is reading this profile ;) see things. I hit the gym 5 times a week and will not forgo a workout to hang out with friends, go on a date, or goof off, I love working out! I squat ***lbs and can dead lift ***lbs and am constantly working on increasing my max lift weight. Yup, that means protein shakes, vitamins, pre-workouts, etc., and of course, healthy eating! And it is super attractive when the guy makes the first move and takes lead. And if I had to save the world to a theme song, I'd be blasting Two Steps From Hell all the way. What I'm looking for in a man: -- You must be open minded. As a writer, I question a lot of things and I'm willing to look at both sides of the issue. I rarely believe what is said on the news or TV and will challenge that.-- You have goals, ambitions, and know where you want to go in life. -- You want to travel and see the world and are not afraid of other countries. (Granted, like many, including me, you probably don't have the finances to do it, but if tomorrow you did, then you would definitely want to travel.***Cleanliness. You don't have to be a neat freak, but please tell me that you've dusted at least once in the last year. Also, I do consider smoking Marijuana as doing drugs. Please, if you are smoking it, whether it's recreational or medicinal, do not contact me. Heads up: If you message me and I don't write back to you as quickly as you'd like, don't go on an insulting rant thinking that I'm *** I work two jobs, go to the gym 5 times a week, and spend time with friends and family. I do not live on meetville. So if you see that I'm online and I haven't answered to you, maybe I'm doing something else and I just have meetville opened up. It does not give you the right to rip me a new one simply because I might have been away from the computer and got distracted--the only thing that this will get you is blocked. FYI, I do not allow meetville on my phone, hence, it takes me longer to respond... My ideal first date is getting together whether it's for coffee or lunch, get to know each other, see if there is a spark there, and take it from there. I like the thought of a first meeting vs. a first date so that you can see that I did represent myself correctly and vice versa and then if we decide to see each other again, then consider that the first date and see where it goes from there.

Not entirely sure how to introduce myself to the general public while being brief enough to "spark an interest". i'll use the cliche "over the bar scene" line for now and just say that I am a fun, outgoing, energetic girl (heard it, heard it, heard it. I know - this stuff gets repetitive doesn't it?) who spends a lot of time focused on my career goals but who is looking to find that person to be my best friend, travel buddy, date to hideously boring events, and the popper of popcorn (because I always burn it)!- Side note - I hate being asked:"so what do you do for fun" - Huh? Everything? I love my job, I love my school, I love my life. I'm not hunting out anything thats "boring". I just don't get this question. Are there that many people who find daily life so boring? Make everything fun, find a way to, I promise you way better results."Why is a girl like you on here" - Um. What are you saying about yourself then :/ I'm absolutely flattered that you find me too .. well whatever you find me in abundance of that I should not be on this site .. but that question tends to show a lack in confidence for yourself, like you don't see the same qualities in you as you do in me. Confidence is sexyyy guys!"What are you" - I'm sorry? Human? Wth do you mean? Oh my background? First of all, you don't ask people that question right off the bat. It's offensive. Second of all, if you're just generally interested in knowing their background ask it in a much more polite way "What's your background, if you don't mind me asking".I genuinely do appreciate every single person who has taken five seconds out of their day to say hello, the kind messages I have received make me incredibly humbled. You all are great, so thank you! Depends on who it's with. Whatever will be the best way to get to know you!
