************************************************************************** "; -************************************************************************** I'm a pretty easy-going and down to earth woman, working with children keeps me very young at heart! I'm very content with my day to day life, I'm positive and optimistic, I like to keep things light, but also have depth...I'm creative, I need to work w my hands. I'm also a perfectionist, when I do something I give it my best; it's also about personal satisfaction. I can get bored quickly, the more projects going the better I perform; I know it drives me crazy as well sometimes! I can be stubborn; when I get an idea in my head I'll be determined to achieve my goal. Intense you might think? I describe it as passion! I'm spontaneous, life is more interesting that way. But I equally need organization and stay focused. My brain needs to work all the time and stay stimulated, so it's possible that I ask many questions. If I seem curious - could be that I'm inspired. If I seem calm or quiet - could be that I'm listening, taking it all in. I give special attention to detail so don't be surprised with my memory at times! I might be shy at first but once I'm comfortable I can be quite funny. I am loyal friend, I have a big heart but I don't let everyone in. I am selective but it's more an issue of trust. I have a sensitive side but do my best not to show it. If you see it; it's because I care. I am positive about life. When anything bad happens I don't dwell on it, I will find what I could learn from it. Its unfortunate, it might take me some time, but everything happens for a reason. I'm independent and self-sufficient. I'm a good mother, my kids are priority, but I make room for myself too. I try to appreciate the little things in life. I dream and have ambition but I'm also realistic, well grounded and very patient, all in good time is fine with me.I'd like to meet people who intrigue me, drive me and inspire me to bring out the best of me, who are high on life but equally laid-back when needed. As my profile quote says; Love is Friendship set on Fire - I truly believe that a friendly pressure-free connection is where it all begins. I'm here to improvise. That's why I'm looking for friendship first, 'cause I'm open to see if it grows, and if it doesn't, a true friend is never a waste of time... "Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. That’s why we call it the present" No expectations means no disappointments

I like good conversation with someone who has something to say. It doesn't always have to be deep and meaningful but interesting is good. I enjoy all the usuals: movies (thrillers, drama), tv (House, The Closer, Project Runway, etc), ball games (Go Wolfpack!), dining out, grilling out, etc... I've been known to read multiple books a week. I prefer thrillers/mysteries but read other genres, too.; Coben are a few authors I like. When listening to the radio I am up and down the dial: pop, country, oldies, classic rock, hip hop/r&b. I love animals and volunteer at a local shelter. My ideal guy is intelligent, funny, caring, loves animals, and enjoys my sense of humor/wit/sarcasm. He should enjoy socializing and going out but also want/appreciate time at home; no bar flies, please. Hopefully, he can use a lawn mower, grill, and toilet seat; I'm willing to teach him to mow. :-) If it's a first meeting, it should be quick: coffee, ice cream, etc... If it's a real first date, dinner is good for talking and getting to know each other. Or how about bowling? Fun, low key, and everyone looks great in those shoes!
