I'm not like most women I DON'T get emotionally involved too quickly."Dating"it is ALL about getting to KNOW each other. So if you are just out to get in my pants, the only way that will happen is IF I FEDEX them to you in the mail! :) Well for me I think the WORST first date is going to see a movie! I would want to get to know you. I guess a movie is "OK" if there has been ALOT of interaction before. So My IDEAL date would be of course great conversation getting to know about each other, it can just be over a drink or dinner. Or maybe something outdoors like a walk in a park or by the river. Even better would be having FUN playing darts, any sports events, shooting pool, comedy club, bowling, Rock quest-rock climbing, frisbee golf or a challenge to TRY to beat me at some games somewhere like Dave & Busters! As you can see I DO like to have FUN and pretty much anything is great as long as you are willing to not take life so seriously and just have fun! Plus please DO NOT be a sore looser when I WHOOP Your BUTT in whatever we do!!     After taking a break from here for a bit, I have decided to give this another shot. I will be honest and upfront…I know what I am looking for and if you are into playing games, one night stands, saying something without truly meaning it, or a “wild and crazy” girl then please move on. With that being said…A few years ago I made the decision to start putting myself first. A lot has changed since then and with that I have been “rediscovering” who I am. It has been a process and at this point one in which I would like to start sharing with someone else.My friends would describe me as a quiet and extremely caring and thoughtful individual. I am more on the shy and quiet side but once I get to know you it is a different story. I have to admit, it does take a little to get through that shyness but it is worth it in the end. I am career and goal-oriented but also know how to have a good time. I took on a new position at work last year and what an interesting year it was. I like doing random acts of kindness; it brings a smile to my face hoping that I might have made someone’s day. I still often put others first; it is my nature. But, the past few years have taught me that I can’t help and be there for others if I myself am not in a “good place” so I make sure to put me first too. One way has been by becoming more physically fit and healthy. I made some major life-style changes over the past five years and it has definitely paid off. I now actively participate in many of the local 5k and 10k races. I have also had the opportunity to complete something on my bucket list (which 5 years ago wouldn’t have even been on it) by participating in two half marathons. Other things I enjoy include traveling, camping, cooking, gardening, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, plays/musicals, sporting events, and playing games/cards. I am a huge football person…during football season you will find me a local games and in front of the TV on Sunday afternoons. I enjoy other sports as well including professional bull riding…yes, you read correctly. My friends and family are extremely important to me. I spend quite a bit of time with both. Without them and the experiences I have shared with them, I wouldn’t be the person I am today. I am looking for someone who is caring, compassionate and thoughtful…someone who cares strongly about their family and friends…someone who has goals and a personal drive…someone who enjoys going out to try new and different things and places but also enjoys quiet evenings at home watching movies, cooking a meal, or playing games and cards…someone who is genuinely happy and who has a sense of humor…someone who likes to hold hands…someone who appreciates that I am a little “old fashion”…someone who is open-minded and willing to listen…someone who will be my best friend…someone who will help push me to be the best person I can be and who is willing to let me do the same for them…someone who will be supportive as I continue to “rediscover” who I am.
