I am thankful for my Christian faith, my health, my family being two daughters, son, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren. I lost one of my sons. I consider myself to be a kind, honest, compassionate person. I am a widow after 50 years of marriage and hoping to find someone honest, loving, truthful, wanting a lasting relationship and perhaps spend the rest of our lives together. I love having a companion. My friends say I’m kind, easy going, genuine, hard working, and energetic.

- I enjoy exploring the city's great restaurants, live music, theatre, galleries, museums, parks and trails, patios, and coffee shops. I love getting out to see live music as often as I can and had a great time at several of this summer's festivals. I also, like everyone, enjoy traveling, although I haven't had the opportunity to do nearly enough of it. My most interesting travel experience so far was a month spent in Vietnam - what an incredible and beautiful country. I love the outdoors and try to spend as much time enjoying it as possible, especially in the summer. Camping and cottages, canoeing and hiking, dragon boat season, summer afternoons and evenings spent on patios - some of my favourite things. I coordinate an environmental stewardship program working with involving community volunteers in environmental projects and I find my job extremely rewarding. I'm easy-going, friendly, and down-to-earth; I have a positive outlook and tend to see the best in people. I'm looking for someone to share my interests and explore the city (and beyond) with. The setting doesn't make the date - What makes the perfect date is enjoying the time that you've spent together, learning about someone new, going away at the end of the date wanting to know more about the other person, and looking forward to seeing them again. The kind of date that makes you smile when you think about it later.
