I can be quite bad at describing myself so hopefully this first attempt isn't too bad. I try to be open and honest about things but I don't really know what to put in here.I'm a mostly happy person and can be quite easily amused, often at inappropriate times. I guess I mainly have a dry, sarcastic sense of humour, although it does sometime progress to the silly or dark side of things. I enjoy seeing new places, either in a different country or just down the road, but I can be a bit indecisive at times so I don't often get too far on trips by myself.Spent far too long at university studying physics so I guess it's hard for me not to be at least a bit geeky. I enjoy watching films, action/sci-fi/comedy are probably my favourites, and some TV shows (mostly sci-fi stuff). Used to be a projectionist at the cinema at university so managed to see quite a lot of films there through that but I seem to be missing a lot of the recent ones. I probably sound like a bit of an alcoholic but I promise i'm not, I just like good beer and especially trying new ones with other people. I can be a bit shy with new people too so the beer is sometimes partly medicinal :) Probably somewhere reasonably quiet with something nice to drink (alcoholic or not), at least to start with anyway.

Work with the Army has kept me pretty busy and out of the country for far too long now but luckily I find myself back in good Old Blighty for the foreseeable future. I was recently told by a colleague that this internet dating malarkey is a great way to meet someone who you might not normally bump into. Hell, whats the worst that could happen? (apart from meeting an internet wierdo who wants to harvest my organs!) There is no longer any kind of stigma involved with finding someone online, more than a few friends met their partners on sites similar to this so why not us?What am I looking for? Well I wouldn't say I really have a 'type' per se but if you like to live life, not spent all your time sat in front of the TV but love to get out, travel, explore and not take yourself too seriously all the time then I'm sure we will hit it off. It has made meeting new people a bit harder than it should be though and I'm kind of over clubbing now, so here I am trying something new. Without trying to sound cliché, I would consider myself to be pretty outdoorsy, and I don't just mean that I like getting drunk on patios.. I'm into anything that gets you out in nature and I love to travel. But then again who doesn't?. I think I have prattled on enough on here now. Why give everything away.
