To me, chemistry does matter. Physical intimacy is a very important part of a relationship as well as communication. Communcation to me is a MUST. I feel that without communication there really is no relationship. I am part Italian and part Greek so that means I love to cook. I want someone who will cook with me, to me that is sexy. My perfect match, is a man that is intelligent, engaging, loves to laugh, and someone who appreciates their woman being independent, and confident. He would be as comfortable in a dive bar as well as the nicest restaurant in town. They have to be someone who makes me laugh and who can be both a lover and companion someone who can be my best friend, but a friend with that extra magic spark! My ideal first date would be to go to the park (kiwanis maybe) have lunch and be able to just sit and talk about anything. Maybe even go to a sporting event (i.e football, baseball, hockey) Just something fun and relaxing where you can just be yourself around each other. I am a 32 year old woman with an associates degree from an occupational therapy assistant accredited course. I currently attend yoga classes, attend continuing Ed courses and work full time at a nursing home. I have to say that I love my job. My coworkers have a good sense of humor which makes working enjoyable. When they say to surround yourself with people who can change your life for the better then you have found your sanctuary where you can be yourself. I have found that my sense of humor and self esteem has been its strongest since I found this job. I enjoy being around someone who enjoys outdoor activities, has a great sense of humor, energy, down to earth, and sees everything with a positive perspective. I enjoy all types of music. I enjoy traveling, exercising, writing, and hanging out with friends. I actually rarely ever date but I do go out now and then with my friends. I am career driven and independent. I am not out to date for money and buying me gifts doesn't guarentee a relationship. I have a great sense of humor and I get along with everyone, but to date me you have to have a good sense of humor and alot of patience. I do not have mood swings and I am not the possessive jealous type. If you have friends that are girls I am cool with that. I hate to get into arguments because that is not my thing. We either agree or disagree. To go further than that to prove a point wastes time. I am not on this site for an intimate encounter. Having a good job or enrolled in school to further oneself is a plus for me. I do not weed out by one's career/job. I recieve comments from people all the time when I go out "how are you single","you're so beautiful." I just haven't found the right one yet. I love road trips. And coffee. I love reality tv but I do appreciate a good HBO drama. I am a country music fan at heart but nothing beats some retro 80’s or classic rock. I haven’t been to a concert I didn’t like and I have seen one group 4 times in the last 2 years (I am not admitting as to who!). I read over 40 books a year (book nerd alert!) but I usually never read the same author twice. I met my best friend in grade 7 and we still talk almost every day. I am obsessed with the weather forecast. And CNN. I come from a big sports family and play hockey, soccer and recently Ultimate Frisbee. I have a love-hate relationship with the gym. I am constantly trying to become a workout-before- I have been lucky to grow up in a “normal” family, but I still suffer from middle child syndrome. I care way too much about what shoes a guy is wearing. Better yet I care way too much about what shoes I am wearing. I am a homebody at heart but the outdoors is my favourite place. Especially the beach and cottage life. Are you a normal guy who loves adventure and sports? If you can handle some country music, reality tv and road trips, then maybe you are the one for me :)
