About Me

I'm done wasting time....I'm going to give it to you straight, I'm on here because I'm looking for someone to eventually marry!! I need a man who loves children, funny, good-looking, motivated, intelligent, sweet, and fun. I'm sure there are more things, but those are the main things...I only expect out of him, what I expect out of myself. I'm not perfect but I am responsible, hard-working, loving, caring, funny, optimistic, dedicated to my family...About me, I am a single mom of 2 wonderful children and 10 and 13 yr old. I also am 2 classes away from obtaining my Masters in Public Administration. I am earning this degree because I am planning to open a youth center/after school program. I love kids and I guess they love me. My house is the neighborhood hang out for the kiddos. What else about me, I love to travel when I am given the chance and have been to Europe a few times. My mother is from Croatia so I have visited there and my Uncle now lives in Germany, so I visited family there a few times. I try to take my kids places when I have the resources and in ***we plan to vacation on the Adriatic Sea. I think it's important to have them absorb culture and appreciate everything around them.I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few years ago (you wouldn't know it by looking at me-usually people are very surprised) but that has resulted in me not working out daily (as I did before) so I cannot be as active as I was because my nervous system just won't allow it. As a result, I'm not a twig, I have curves, I'm not skinny, but I'm not exactly fat either. Otherwise, I'm coping with everything well. Just have to take it easy at times...otherwise life is normal as usual.Well, if any of this interests you-respond.     Ah! My favorite part of online dating...talking about myself! As hard as I try it never seems to be "me" enough. Here is goes anyway...! Easy, laid back, girl next door looking for someone to make me laugh. That best friend, cant stop thinking about, excited to get home every day side kick! Love to be outside doing something. Hanging with the kids, BBQing with friends and family, enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch during this perfect time of year. Never was into the club scene, occasional football game at the sports bar is great, home with close friends is even better. Not a gym rat by any means, but I do run and eat right most of the time. Don't get me wrong though, pizza and beer is a must! I'm a sucker for cheesecake :) Right now you'll find me training for The Breast Cancer 3 Day in November! I love to laugh! Usually at myself, but yes, laugh!! Life is too short to not smile. Not a "girlie girl", more of a goofy dork actually! Looking for someone who will dance in the kitchen with me while I'm doing the dishes, sing to the radio in the car. Or at least not mind when I do it!! I have 3 kiddos that are my life. They keep me on my toes and keep me young. Or are they making me age faster? I'm not sure ;) We have quite the awesome family of 4 going on, but looking for that missing piece. Or pieces if you also have kids. We eat at the table every night, church on Sunday, story time and a few minutes of "special time" with each of them before bed. I can not have more kids of my own but would welcome yours with open arms. But they have to like camping in the back yard...! ;) Anyway....!! Please say hi! I'd love to hear from u!!
