Looking for: man. In age: 50-70
When I say Christian, I mean that your a man that loves the Lord, puts him first in his life and goes to church on a regular basis. I'm looking for my bestfriend...someone to love and be loved by..ME: A friend recently described me as....funny,smart,beautiful and passionate...So, I'll just leave it at that and you can discover for yourself what you think of me....YOU: Are TALL(min.5'***'7),handsom,sense of humor, reasonably good communicator,a loving good man that's emotionally available....I love the coast...walking the beach in the morning before anyone else is out there...well,except for you;)... That is if your not still sleeping:)..And If you tick me off..I'll tie you up and beat you in your sleep....Kidding..lol..Just checking to see if your actually reading my profile ;) And I'm open to trying the things you like too. I work with youth at church...If your this Tall man I would love to meet you;).Also, I don't smoke and I'm sorry but, I don't want to be with someone who does:( Also, in the interest of full disclosure I have gained 25 pds since I had knee surgery this past year and a half , was not able to work out as before but, it's a lot better, I still have to be careful some but, am hoping to get back to be able to do aerobics again. I like this quote..."Don't bother reserving a place in your heart for someone who isn't willing to make an effort to stay" and "Don't make someone a priority... that makes you an option."Initially: I would like to talk on here a bit so we can get a feel to see if there's a spark and mutual interest...then text/talk on the phone a little and see where that leads us!!..P.S....I like this quote,..."You have to swim out of your comfort zone to catch the wave of your life!"....So...this means if your interested in me please send me a note...Because,I don't assume that just because you've looked at my profile that your interested in me..Thanks! P.S.One of the gentlemen on here gave me this idea:If you're shy or don't want to waste your time w/note... in case your not sure if I'll be interested ... then *** you'd like... put me on your favorite's list and if I'm interested I'll put you on mine then we'll both know for sure there's a mutual interest.:) If not...God bless you on your search!!WARNING: Any *** individuals using this site or any of it's associated sites for studies, projects, advertisingl, sales,or any other reason-you DO NOT have my permission to use any of my profile or pictures in any form or forum both current and future. Hmmm... I suppose this is where I sell myself....Let's see. I'm a typical Gemini - including all characteristics good and bad. I enjoy long walks in the ghetto after sunset (yay, the Heights!). I prefer my steaks medium rare. The word most often used to describe me is: quirky. I was a Chem major, Anthro minor (yes, I accept the "nerd" title willingly). I dance all the time - badly. I don't karaoke, but I'll watch it for entertainment's sake! I love my job and what I do. Be warned, I'm a bit of a workaholic, but I also know how to take time out and enjoy life. I'm an active Monday night poker player (as long as it doesn't cost me more than $20!). About once every week/two weeks, my foodie friends and I go try a new cuisine/restaurant somewhere in town. My little brother is my best friend followed by a quirky ass FTM queer. I'm sooooo a country girl. I spend at least one or two weekends a month out on my parent's farm which can include anything from fishing to just sittin' on the back porch with my feet propped up on the banister watching the cows and the lovely sunset. A few interesting facts about me: - billiards player - gun shooter- dog owner x ***love Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central - sushi lover - poker player- avid reader - preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse- coupon cutter- anal retentive clean freak - in love with Michelle Rodriguez- dual citizenshipI want to know more people who color outside the lines and can't quite be described as anything but unique. Sense of humor and sensible shoes are a must. Smiles are attractive and so are long eyelashes. And it is an absolute MUST that you have viewed "The Princess Bride" at one point in your life, or you will be forced by me to endure two hours of the bestest movie ever. I'll even provide snacks.ADDENDUM A: I am not currently looking for a relationship. Or even dating, for that matter. I want to meet new people as friends and going-out buddies ***can never be surrounded by too many good friends. I'm still single but this does not necessarily mean that I'm scrambling to find someone to "complete me". I'm emotionally/mentally/fiscally stable so if you're down for having a rockin' new friend who loves to try new foods and enjoys road trips, hit me up.ADDENDUM B: Meh... Whatever happens, happens. :)ADDENDUM C: Cancellation of Addendum B.Hmmm.... describing a first date is a difficult question to answer. I suppose that's really dependent on the person, right? No one should ever have a standard cookie cutter mold for first dates. That's, well.... just boring, eh?First dates are about talking, listening and learning. Carnivals/fairs are good places. Museums and parks for the inner artist. Mini-golf, anyone?
