In a nutshell. I am a none smoker who has grown to enjoy quiet times and the slow life, having already done the fast lane. I like movies and light music as away to escape the hustle and bustle of today’s trying times. I like a good snuggle, good conversation and good food. There is always time for a good restaurant as well as the occasional cocktail, beer or wine. Never forget the good laugh. The occasional adventure is also an enjoyment, be it shopping, a museum or a historical site. Window shopping is always fun, just might something I need. A good stroll is enjoyable as well, never can tell what you might see. A bit more into the weeds. Like wanting to do for a partner with out the pressure of demand. Want to help because I want to not because I have to. Sometime one may need to be careful for what they ask for because it is often all or nothing. Like to tease and goof around and if happy just like to play. I am often told I have a distorted sense of humor and find things funny. I am usually quiet and reserved around strangers until I get comfortable, sometime rather introverted. Once in the comfort zone, walls come down and will talk one's ear off. Like family, though I have a history of being remote and focus more on family than a large friend base. A trait I continue to work to improve. Life in the military is the excuse. One would say, I have few friends but more acquaintances, because of trust. However, when a friend calls and needs, there is usually a no-holds-barred response. Enjoy looking well-dressed. Have the belief, if one looks good everyone may think one is a rocket scientist or brain surgeon. Should one look like a soup sandwich, they could be a doctor and everyone would think they are homeless and a looser. Enjoy being comfortable and dress the best I can afford. This may be vain to some. Why stay at a motel six when I do not have too. When I entertain, I try to put my best foot forward. I want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy themselves. I don't do it often, but when I do... Don't care for arrogant or conceded individuals. Believe these traits are negative and I yield to a tone of humility, which I find virtuous. Always like learning new things and enjoy problem solving. Usually have trouble asking for help, but do know my limits. I will be a pest looking over ones shoulder trying to learn how to do it. Holidays are often a down time. I support them but would rather not celebrate and often overlook. In my past I found myself often working so others could enjoy the holiday with family because for one reason or another I could not. This became habit. But it can be a hit or miss because I will give from the heart not because I got to. Who am I looking for? I am looking for a woman, who likes me for me. She must be independent in her own right yet wants me close. She is loving, likes hugs and the passing kiss. She likes me to gaze at her, not so much in lust but in an admiring and caring way. She cares about herself as she cares about me. Is attractive, a class act, weather it is in jeans, shorts or a gown. Laughter is such a joy and to tease well she can give as much as she can take. She is confident yet humble and no need for jealousy, because there is no need to be. There is time to snuggle but she knows that I am hers and I am close whether there is not a word spoken. Never materialistic, but knows how to make it nice. Many will say it is a dream, but it is my dream.
