As Dateateers let's begin with a crooked grin and a shared smile. Without further definition of who I'm looking for (there’s no value in limiting wonderful) I'll move on and give you a few hints of the life that surrounds me. Hint: Tall, humor, and affectionate drives me crazy!.The perfect day is when I've laughed and played, learned, created, and shared. My style tends to be jeans and bare feet on home time, jeans and heels during work time (I'm a salon owner), and if I'm very lucky the occasional Cinderella dress during magical times. My heart moves at love stories and jumps at scary ones (hungry ghosts you know). I'm blessed with family and friends which include two grown children and the most magical grandson on the face of the planet. I love creativity, oceans, hikes and picnics, boats, intelligence and good spelling (:-), blue cheese stuffed olives, and scuba. I enjoy baseball and hockey, warm days cross country skiing/snowshoeing, bout any game as long as it does not involve the heart, movies and productions, live blues and classic rock, and the amazing cities of the world... whew. With all that being said it's simple, most of all I love being in the arms of someone special and laughing no matter what we're doing.That about sums up my existence, well almost.     Really like my life, but good company can make everything better. I like spending time with my animals - I'm a sucker for four-legged companions - cooking a nice meal to enjoy with a glass of wine, good conversation, and working out. I also enjoy walking - essential with two big dogs - and I'm trying to learn how to fly-fish, but so far spend most of my time untangling knots in the line. I learned to scuba dive a few years ago and would like to find someone who wants to explore underwater, too. I'm a reading junkie, particularly mysteries and some sci- John. I'd like to meet someone intelligent with an adventurous spirit, a great sense of humor and a positive outlook. Politics are way left; I'm pretty much a former hippie who conformed enough to get by. I'm frequently appalled and dismayed at the greed and arrogance of our so-called elected officials and the direction we are heading. Not interested in playing mommy or wasting time on an alcoholic. Sorry if that's harsh, but at least I'm honest! Coffee or lunch for a first date. If it's great we can plan a longer date later and if it's awful, we both have an escape.
