I really am 53 as of January ***......And I really have long hair, that's curly most of the time!Me, hum......I love my life and feel like everyday is a gift. I'm happy with a lot to be thankful for...........you know, your basic run of the mill kind of woman! I have 2 kids. My daughter is 19, a happy DUCK just finished her freshman year at the U of O. Good kids, goal oriented, one heading into law/business and the other pre-med. I am a proud parent! I have 3 furry four-legged animals, the dust mop type. I'm big on honesty and huge on principals. I've started a couple businesses, one in the Fashion Industry and the other in the Interior Design Industry. Currently, I manage my families Commercial/Industrial Real Estate. I'm very comfortable with my life and don’t need to be entertained. I enjoy puttering in my backyard, redoing furniture or tackling some new project. I love to ski, bowl, golf and play tennis. I’m not lazy and don’t sit around eating Bon Bons or reading magazines (too often!) I’m not into posting on ***, nor am I attached to my cell phone ***, but I do keep it close by just in case I’m needed. I’m casual, mostly in jeans. Love to dress up, too. I’ I'm really good at multi tasking, if necessary. I do love my Lakers, even when they seem to have issues and I’ve come to recently enjoy watching college football, at least the Duck games. I’m not into motorcycles or bungee jumping. But, if that is your deal, have fun – I won’t try to stop you! I am not looking for a boy (so, if your younger than 47, I'm not for you). And, I'm not looking for a toy, I'd like to meet a man who is a gentleman, one who is strong, independent, happy, has integrity, not too complicated, honest, loyal and most important of all loves his own life. It's time to do an update -- Ok -- Here goes.....Most people say that I'm basicly laid back and easy going (I get along with pretty much everybody) I am quite content to put on a pair of jeans, comfy shirt, and hang out at home or with friends ***Maybe, dinner and a movie or dancing, concert, social night out with friends. A romantic surprise night out with that someone special would be fun too. I would like to travel and experience new things that I've never done. I use to go to the gym and work out 3 or 4 times a week when my kids were in school. I would like to get back into exercising on a regular basis and it would be nice to have someone to do it with.People don't meet the same way they did the last time I was dating. So, I thought I would just go with the flow and give this social networking a try. I just don't know if I know how. I would like to meet soneone who shares some of the same likes and interest that I do. They need to willing and able to put forth the effort it takes to have a loving and intimate relationship. There needs to be a physical attraction and the chemistry that goes with it. I believe that a kiss is a true test of that and can also be a deal breaker. I'm sorry if that makes me sound shallow, but I need that. All of that being said, first we need to develop a genuine friendship. It takes time, but it's worth it in the end. I just want to take it slow (cause I wouldn't want to miss a thing).I was married for 23 years and I've been on my own for the last couple of years. It's time to start the next chapter in my life. I would like to expand my friends and family. And when I say family, I mean it. I lost both of my parents and a sibling in the 90's. I love kids and animals. I have a dog, a cat, and a sugar glider. And I can't forget to mention my two boys. They may be full grown, but they still light up my life.Ok, I know this is getting a little long and if I keep going I might lose your attention.
