I can milk a cow and raise chewing tobacco but I prefer not to. I was the second oldest of 6 children. My parents were both Irish although my mother's blood was tainted with a bit of czech and german. I can be a bit stubborn and I do hope to visit the motherland one day and kiss the Blarney Stone.I am blessed to be the mother of two wonderful (mostly grown) children who are away at college.; Hooch) and a karin terrier (Dog in Wizard of Oz).In my spare time I am expanding my horizons by spending time with a couple friends who are single. One is a bit of a Part-time Homemaker Goddess and has made it her mission to prove to me that cooking/baking is a viable option. My children actually now request certain food items which is new as they used to prefer take out. The other is a do it yourselfer in everything to do with your home. From her, I have learned to kill a scorpion single handedly (you cant suffocate them in a jar for anyone wondering about that), flush out the air conditioning pipe, and a few other handy tricks. It hasn't all gone well so I cannot be trusted with electrical tools at this point. So I feel like a renaissance woman in the making.

Does anyone know how to have fun anymore? Seriously, life is stressful enough, why let it continue into the weekend? I've climbed the corporate ladder. I'm done raising my children. Now, I'm ready to start checking off my bucket list. I am an independent person, but I'd rather share my life experiences.I have been single for a while, so I am very independent. I want someone who will embrace who I am and add to my life. Call me a hopeless romantic, but I do want the fairy tale. Who doesn't? I want a man who can make a decision, have an opinion and is not afraid to express himself physically and emotionally.I try to stay active. I love to play and to watch sports, some that challenge the body and all that challenge the mind. My favorite sport to play and to coach is volleyball. I haven't gone fishing in a few years, but would love to start again. There's nothing better than a good offshore fishing trip or a lazy day on the lake. My father was a great pool shot. I've been itching to find someone who also enjoys the game of pool.I know how to relax on my time off. I enjoy traveling both in and out of the United States. A hotter climate is always preferred, but sitting by a fireplace or relaxing in a hot tub on a cold winter's night are also nice. I'm not looking for my soulmate. I'm looking for my best friend, someone who loves to stay active and loves to laugh out loud. So, if you're not a player, can make a decision, and actually do what you say, please send me a message. I do want a relationship, but for now, I'd like to date without the pressure of finding the "one." I'm attracted to active, intelligent, athletic men. I exercise on a regular basis, I would want the same from you. If you play volleyball, that's a big plus!If you smoke, I'm not interested. If you are wearing a baseball cap in all of your pictures, I'm not interested. If you are shirtless and not at the beach, on a boat, or sitting poolside, I'm not interested. If you are in a bar or holding a beer in all of your pictures, I'm not interested. And what's up with men who do not post their profession? I'm sorry, but listing your Profession as "I work" or I have one" or "Profession" does not cut it. If you do not have a picture posted, I will not respond. If you only post one picture or if I can't see your eyes, I will not respond.
