I think I have a lot more to offer than the average 25 year old girl-I'm a bit reserved and old fashioned and was raised with morals and values which seem to rarely exist in society these days. I would like to think I have a pretty good grasp as to the things I want in life, and where I'd like to see myself in the future, I'm just missing that special person to share my life with. I work as a project specialist in a law firm and absolutely love what I do, I think it's important to enjoy what you do everyday, life is to short not to! I try to stay active whether it's hiking, swimming or just going on a walk with my dogs. In my free time I love to read, watch tv/movies, spend time with family and friends, listen to music, go shopping and play with my dogs-- among many other things. I'm definitely not one for the club scene but don't mind the occasional night at a quaint bar/pub with some friends. I'm not a big drinker, but enjoy my fair share of wine every now and then!In an ideal significant other I am looking for someone that is family orientated, can always make me laugh, comforting, fun to be around, shares similar interests and dreams for life, goal orientated, active, respectful, can hold an intelligent conversation and can make me want to be a better person. I want to find that person that makes my heart stop and give me butterflies whenever I think of him. Maturity is a must! I love a man with a good sense of style that knows how to dress, I think the way a person presents them self in what they wear is a big reflection of who they are...that said, a "wife-beater" tank top is probably the most unattractive thing a man can wear, at least in my opinion. I think there is nothing more attractive than a man with a good sense of humor and nice smile. I have standards and maybe I'm too picky, but I know what I know what I'm looking for. In terms of meeting for the first time (which I don't consider a date), I tend to find that a coffee shop of some sort creates the perfect atmosphere for this. A nice conversation in a cozy environment over a cup of hot coffee/tea where neither person feels uncomfortable.In terms of an actual date once there is a connection established and both people have the "first date jitter"s out of the way...I like the idea of doing something interactive whether it be ice skating, sledding, laser tag, canoeing, hiking, going to a sporting event or museum or even a walk along the water...with that said I also like the standard date of a nice restaurant and a movie, or going to see live music/comedy somewhere. I'm really not too picky!
